Chapter 20

I groaned, the sound of my phone ringing woke me up.

"Hello?" I said.

"____! We're going to the pool at UA!"

"Okay have fun," I said.

"Wait, don't hang up! You're coming with us!"

"Why would I do that?"

"Because you want to hang out with your friends!"

"....I do?"

"Aw c'mon! You always spend all your time with Bakugo and Shoto! Just spend time with the girls for once!"

I sighed. "Fine."

"Great! Come to UA so we can go swimming! We've gotta wear our school bathing suits though."

"Okay."

"See you in one hour!"

I hung up and groaned. Who even was that? I looked at my call log and sighed.

Pinky.

I groaned loudly before getting out of bed and walking into my bathroom. I stared at myself in the mirror.

'You have such pretty hair," My mom taunted as she dragged me inside by my hair. I kicked and screamed for my dad, but it was useless because he was away. My mom laughed and slammed my head on the hard floor.

I spit in her eye and tried to crawl away. "You stupid brat!" She exclaimed before grabbing my hair and slamming her knee against my skull.

I stroked my long, curly hair and sighed before getting a pair of scissors from my room.

I walked into the locker room at UA. I could hear the girls chatting about whatever.

"OMG YOUR HAIR," Pinky exclaimed before rushing over to me.

"Ah yea, I cut it."

"You look great in short hair!"

"You look so pretty!"

"Thanks," I said as I stroked my hair, which was slightly longer than Pinkys.

"Is it naturally curly like this?" Frog girl asked.

I nodded. "Yea."

"It looks amazing! You should wear it like this more often."

"Maybe," I said before walking over to my locker and pulling out the school bathing suit. After we changed, we all walked out to the pool and I immediately dived in.

Once I came above water, I looked at everyone. "C'mon the water's great!"

The girls and I all played volleyball while the guys trained. Suddenly, I got a great idea! I climbed out of the pool and made a big ball of water floated above the girls.

"Hey, this is payback for waking me up!" I exclaimed before dropping the ball of water on the girls' heads. They all squealed and screamed as I laughed.

"Hey, guys!" I exclaimed as the guys started filling into the pool area. I climbed out of the pool and jumped on Shoto. He caught me.

"Hey, ____. You cut your hair?"

"Yeap. Do you like it?"

He nodded. "You look cute with short hair."

"Thanks!" I climbed on Shoto's back and smiled at the other guys.

"____! Your hair cut is very nice!" Iida exclaimed.
