Soundwave's POV

I can't believe my optics. Here I stand right in front of my Carrier. Not my birth Carrier, but Ravage, my adoptive Carrier. In the center of the huge spiral, Ravage lay in a pile of her own Energon, optics flickering on and off, whimpering in pain. A huge indigo crystal of Energon pierced right through her spark camber.

I flung my visor off and fell to my knees beside her trembling body, washer fluid streaming down my face. "S-Soundwave, darling, i-is that y-you?" She asked in fluent English. I nodded, "Yes, C-Carrier, it's me..." I said. She coughed, her huge tail flinching violently. I gently placed my servos under her body and lifting her off the Energon spike. She yelped, weakly. I carried Ravage like she was a delicate vase. I used one of my feelers to reattach my visor. Slick stared at me in shock, but I didn't care. I let my shoulders shake as I sobbed.

The moment I get my Carrier back, she's offlining! I sprinted to the others, Slick hot on my trail. The sund of my heavy pedesteps startled the others, I looked over and saw Laserbeak rushing over, landing on my shoulder and nuzzling Ravage sadly. I pulled up a Ground Bridge, and ushered everybody through. I noticed that Drive, Flashdrive, and Starflight had as many multicolored crystals stashed in the chinks i their armor, and in their hands.

Slick, on the other hand, looked horrified. Poor kid. Although, my main priority, I thought, is to get Ravage  healed. No matter the price.

Knockout's POV

I jumped nearly five feet into the air when a black and indigo blur came crashing into my Med-Bay. "What the frag?!" I shrieked, staring at Soundwave. Then, I saw her. This was the same Cybercat from Soundwave's dreams, Ravage, his adoptive Carrier. I pointed towards a berth in the corner of the room and began gathering all necessary supplies for fusing a spark chamber back together.

As soon as Soundwave had the Cybercat secure on the Med-Berth, I began studying the wound. It looked as if she fell onto the Energon spike that Soundwave described. I started cleaning the wound gently with water from the wash room, but noticed something strange. Around the wound was a thick indigo substance. It didn't sizzle and hiss like Dark Energon, but it seemed to be healing the wound ever so slowly, then, I remembered. The last time I had seen something like this was on Soundwave. Soundwave's Energon was the exct same color as this. Ravage had the same sickness as Soundwave!

The sickness as caused by regular blue Energon did not mix at all with this new indigo Energon. Soundwave's Energon was indigo, but he had some regular Energon somewhere in his system. Ravage had regular Energon flowing through her, but when she landed on the indigo Energon spike, her body is starting to slowly adjust to the indigo Energon, but the piercing of her spark is making her die faster than heal.

"Alright, Soundy, all that I need to do is hook you up, and give some of your Energon to Ravage, then I will remove all of her regular Energon. I will not need to fuse her spark chamber, because your Energon will take care of that. Okay?" I asked. The silent warrior nodded, absently, and laid onto a Med-Berth opposite to where Ravage lay.

Soundwave's POV

I didn't even flinch as Knockout dug the needle into one of my sensitive wires in order to transfer Energon. I was only focused on the rough, ragged breathing of Ravage. My tears were pooling up inside my visor, making it hard to see, but I tried anyway, not wanting to waste a single moment of this 'life or death' situation.

Finally, I decided to mentally speak to Laserbeak, who was perched in the corner, and Ravage. ::Hey, Ravage? Can you hear me?:: I asked. ::Yes.:: She replied, shakily. ::Laserbeak?:: I asked. ::Yeah?:: He sniffled. ::I want all of us to talk together during the operation. Tell of our lives being separated. What do you think, Carrier?:: I suggested. I saw a cat-like smile form on Ravage's faceplates. ::Of course, dears.::

::So, on the Nemesis,:: I started. ::I am the communications officer, and the TIC, the Third in Command. Laserbeak has been my companion this whole time. Usually, I don't speak-:: ::You never speak to anyone but me...::  Laserbeak piped in. ::Really? Why?:: My Carrier asked. ::I have kept myself secretive after my Sire took you away. I talk to Laserbeak through the mental link. Everything has been BORING! I am always at that computer in the control room, working away. The only time I get a break is on my Spark-Day.:: I admitted.

A Spark-Day was a 'Birthday' in human terms. ::And then, there's Starscream. He really lives up to his name, lemme tell you. He is Megatron's SIC, Second in Command. He really is and arrogant bragger. A real glitch-:: ::Soundwave...language.:: Ravage scolded. ::Yes, Carrier, but he and his best bud, Arachnid, a spider freak, like to play pranks on me. Recently, they had broadcasted my dreams to the WHOLE ship. That was how everyone knew you a little bit. Also recently, I had gotten sick. The same sickness you have. Our medic, Knockout, is currently healing us." I looked over at Knockout, who was looking really stressed. "I have just finished the transfer of your Energon to Ravage's system. I can already see her spark chamber fusing itself back together. All I need to do now, is take out all the regular Energon in her system, then do the same to you.

The removal of the regular Energon was quick. For both Ravage and I. Knockout had said she needed to stay in the berth for a few days until she was ready for movement. Ravage had already dozed off into recharge, and Laserbeak was once again rechargeing inside my chassis. "Thank you, Knockout." I said, my real voice still a little scratchy, but still audible. Knockout turned to face me, sharply. "I will never get used to you talking, Soundy." He said, chuckling. Knockout and Slick were the only ones I trusted enough to hear me talk, but not enough to see my face.

I looked back at Ravage, and gently laid a servo on a snoring Laserbeak. Maybe thing were starting to look up.
