Soundwave's POV
I fell into a peaceful state, listening to Ravage purr and Laserbeak chirp softly. I wasn't recharging, but I had my optics shuttered as I leaned against the was, a servo absently petting Ravage. I let out a stressed sigh. I could feel my dragon pacing inside me, wanting so badly to get out. I agreed. My mech body ached, would my dragon feel like that?
My wings flinched inside me. They itched and creaked. I rubbed my back against the wall, uselessly trying to remove the itch that rested well beneath my armor plates. Cursing softly, I laid back down, relishing the feeling of family. I wished I had Rumble and Frenzy here. They'd make it all better.
Approaching pede steps caught my attention. By the sound of it, it was Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet, and the four humans. Arcee and Bulkhead were not present. I laid onto my side, and pretended to be recharging. Let my frame rise and fall in a steady rhythm. Ravage caught my drift and snuggled up to my chassis and I wrapped my limp arms around her. Laserbeak found a nice place by my helm to curl up and actually fall into recharge.
I closed my optics just as Optimus and the others peeked through the door. I heard and instant 'awww' from Miko and Raf, and I heard Mrs. Darby sigh longingly. I heard a quiet clicking sound, Bumblebee, before another body laid down beside me. It was Bumblebee. I was stunned by the scout's free will to so much as touch me.
I heard Ratchet elbow Optimus in the side, judging by Optimus' yelp of, "Oww! Ratchet...!" I vented more relaxed now. My last thought was, I am going to fly tonight. Before I fell into a peaceful recharge.

When I woke, I was hugging.... Bumblebee! I shrieked, pushing myself away from the slumbering scout. There were so many things WRONG with this situation!
Ravage, having heard my shriek, licked my face. I looked around the garage and my optics fell on a recharging Laserbeak. The said cassette was curled up into a small, warm, ball. I silently scooped him up and held him to my chassis and stood. I looked back at Bumblebee and sighed, walking over. I slipped Laserbeak into my cassette chamber softly. With a grunt, I picked the scout up bridal style and wobbled out of the garage.
Scrap, this scout is HEAVY! With a few stumbles, I finally reached the scout's quarters. I could tell by the yellow door with black racing stripes.
I laid the scout down on his berth and hobbled out and shut the door. I softly lulled Laserbeak back out of my cassette chamber, rocked him, then walked steadily down to the rec room. Before entering, I internally checked the time. It was 9:48pm! Holy fragging Primus!
Keeping my hold on Laserbeak, I burst into the room, my calmness forgotten. "Why didn't any of you wake me up! I have to fly! Slag, slag, slag...!" I cursed. Laserbeak awoke and cawed. Letting him fly into the air, I stated to yell down the hall. "Bumblebee! 'Bee! Wake up! I've gotta fly!" I shouted, before rushing over to the Ground Bridge controls, never really remembering I could generate my own.
I paused after the vortex opened, and I waited for everyone to get here. Ravage, Laserbeak, Optimus, Ratchet, Arcee, Bulkhead, Miko, Raf, and the Darby's were present. Suddenly, a yellow and black blur careened into me. /Let's go!/ Bumblebee whirred, scooping up the humans.
I took a deep breath, suddenly realizing how slagging important this is. I took slow but eager steps through the Ground Bridge before I appeared before the familiar cliff I had always spent my Spark Days on (Which is in three Earth days, by the way).
I suddenly felt very timid and scared, but pushed it aside. Do or die. I thought.
I took a deep vent and held my servo in front of my face to begin the change. The Autobots were silent as it started. I suddenly gasped, the hot feeling beginning to spread about my frame. Every wire, every circuit came to life, heating up. My limbs tinged as I gave out a choked scream. No, it wasn't pain. It was pleasure.
I tilted my face towards the full moon and roared, overwhelmed by the feeling of my wings bursting from my back, my face elongating into a sharp muzzle, my tail lashing. I felt my fangs appear, sharped than ever. I wanted to run, jump, dance, FLY! I heard the humans and Autobots alike gasp at the sheer size of my frame.
My huge, black body glistened in the moonlight with trillions of rough black scales. An almost violet glow shone from between every scale. My wings were huge and powerful, my claws were sharper than any blade, my tail was armed with spikes, perfect for lashing and whipping around. My face had soft scales and two, almost serrated, horns emerging from each side. My fangs were huge and needle-sharp, they were also serrated, perfect for tearing apart prey. My glossa was also protected with miniature armor plates.
My optics, though, were a mix of extravagant colors. Around my slitted pupil I had a swirling, almost endless vortex of light blue, violet, and white with hints of gold. I was huge and powerful. I gave my wings an experimental flap. But, before I started the ritual, I took off sprinting, needing to exercise my aching legs. Frag, I needed this!
