Soundwave's POV
Many days passed and every possible chance I get, I travel to the Med-Bay to check on Ravage. She is now extremely restless and cranky. Knockout really cares for Ravage, but just by looking at him, you and tell he is starting to really get upset with her attitude. Moody femmes can do that to anyone.
I was laying in my berth, visor off, the cool air soothing my faceplates. Laserbeak was finding interest in my human CD collection. I loved Laserbeak, really, but the WHOOP-FLOP of the CDs hitting the metal floor was really detracting. "Laserbeak. Please stop brutally abusing my CD collection." I asked. Laserbeak chirped sheepishly, and cawed out an apology. I couldn't help but wonder what the next few days would be like. With Ravage here and me being sick... Nobody would really remember my Spark-Day. Right?
Only Megatron knew of my Spark-Day. Well the only one on the Nemesis. Well, there was my Sire...but he and his partner were currently in the prisons on the ship. I hoped Megatron would offline both of them soon, I didn't want them both escaping and going in a killing rampage.
Laserbeak scratched the door anxiously. Badly wanting to see Ravage in the Med-Bay. I chuckled lightly, "Do you want to see Ravage?" I asked him. Laserbeak responded by perching on my shoulder and hopping up and down, cawing loudly. I grinned, and attached my visor, still preferring the safe feeling I got when others couldn't see my face.
The door to the Med-Bay opened with a hiss, and the small snarls of Ravage hit my audio receptors. Ravage was grumbling on and on about bed rest in her native Cybercat tongue. I could only understand a little because Ravage was taken away from me in only the basic lessons. I did make out a little, though, "Fragging medic and his fragging bed rest and this fragging Med-Bay." Ravage ranted, snarling after every word. Knockout, however, was typing furiously on his computer, head bouncing to whatever beat that was playing through the 'bot sized headphones' Laserbeak had once called them.
Laserbeak had literally leaped from my arms and up to Ravage, nuzzling her side and mumbling nonsense. Upon my entrance, Knockout looked over, moving one headphone away from his audio receptors, "Hey-o, Soundy! What are you doin here?" Knockout greeted enthusiastically. I pointed to Ravage, "Laserbeak was getting restless. I she close to being off bed rest?" I asked. Knockout nodded, "If she dosen't push herself too hard, she should be able to run around by tomorrow." He reported. Ravage perked up. ::I'm leaving tomorrow?:: She asked me through the mental link. ::Yes. Are you ready?:: ::Yes, I can't wait!:: She yelled, the shout racking my processor. "Ouch." I muttered.
Knockout stared at us. "Were you guys having a stare fest or somthin'?" Questioned the medic. "No," I explained, snickering. "The bond Ravage, Laserbeak and I share is called the C. Link. The link shared from cassettes and their hosts. Ravage was my birth Carrier's cassette, but became mine when she offlined. Laserbeak is mine, and we all share a bond. The C. Link." I explained. Knockout sighed and went back to his music.
As Laserbeak and I made our way back to my quarters, Magatron pulled me to the side. "Soundwave, I have detected a virus. This virus makes all the Iacon coordinates you decode immediately be transferred to the Autobots. Have you not noticed this virus?" He leaned closer, hissing into my audios. "Are you working with the Autobots?" I stepped back, shock written everywhere on my body. "Negative! Of course not!" I defended. Work with the Autobots? I mean, it's tempting...but no. I'm too loyal. "I am only loyal to you, Lord Megatron." He nodded, then grinned. "I knew it, Soundwave. Stay loyal. Stay a Decepticon." And with that, he left.
Ravage's POV
My limbs felt so packed up. I needed to run, sprint, attack an Autobot! I had so much energy. The medic, Knockout, had also been giving me way too much Energon. Now I felt as if I could take out a whole Autobot army by myself. I growled, stretching my legs. Just one more day! One more day until release, and two more days until Sundwave's Spark-Day! I had missed so many of his Spark-Days, I was bound to make that day as special as possible.
"So...you are Soundwave's adoptive Carrier?" The sports car asked. I nodded my head. "Okay... Did you know his Sire is here?" He exclaimed, leaning towards me, placing his head in his hands, propping his elbows on his knees. I froze. No way. I snarled suddenly, leaping off the berth. "Don't worry! Don't worry! He's in prison, in the dungeons, with his pal! No worries!" Knockout stressed, trying to stop me, but he didn't know Soundwave's Sire.
He was a monster, a killer, but very clever. We have just all been doomed.
