Within the light realm of Lumenis, and certain parts of Dinm, there are creatures attuned to the element of light. Some are, in fact, made of light. These creatures vary greatly in intellect, size, shape, etc. The most common of these creatures are detailed below; including angels, Archangels, Ascended, Atenians, daybringers, gracious galerunners, Gray Heralds, Paisde Gaelach, RGBs, Saints, seraphim, solar giants, torrential zealots, and Woodblessed.

Angels are humanoid creatures, roughly 8 feet tall, with wings that span 15 feet across. The lawbringers of Lumenis, they maintain order and honesty in the service of Seraphaz. Angels wield powerful light magic, can sense evil from five miles away, and can see into the hearts of other creatures.

Archangels are like angels, but with much more power, and towering at 12 feet tall. The archangel has seven halos, can command lesser Lightborne, and are the wardens of the most high security prisons which exist within the realm Lumenis.

Ascended are Chosen Ones who, having fulfilled their divine duty and passed on -- whether immediately or long after -- have chosen to work forevermore in the service of Good. They are granted even greater powers than in their previous life as a Chosen One, and can hop between realms with ease. They are the frontlines of wars which mortals hope never to see.

Atenians are miniature sun creatures with green eyes, whose rays end in 14 hands. They fly around Lumenis as couriers, bringing messages to and from Saints, angels and the like.

Daybringers are Lumimancers who have ascended into the realm of Lumenis naturally, and are responsible for bringing power to the suns of the realms which have them. They appear as tall, slender, yellow beings which have three halos stacked atop each other.

Gracious Galerunners are the reformed souls of righteous aeromancers who have passed on in the service of light and Good; to be reborn into the realm of Lumenis. They appear as white feathered humanoids with large wings. They are roughly 7 feet tall, very slender, and act as scouts for the forces of Good.

Gray Heralds are what the humans of Earth often refer to as "aliens". Nine feet tall, lithe forms of grey, smooth skin with large, bulbous heads. They are the reformed souls of Neuromancers which have passed in the service of Light and Good, to be granted supreme intelligence, and technology the likes of which can generally be found only within the furthest bounds of Trivalis.

Paisde Gaelach, also known as Moonbabies, are small, pale creatures. They appear much like a cross between a rabbit, a raccoon, and a cat; with a crescent moon of purple, blue or gold coloring on their foreheads. They inhabit forests and are playful creatures.

RGBs, also known as Really Good Boys, are the reformed souls of pets which have died doing something considered wholly "Good", such as saving someone from drowning, or a long life as a service pet. Appearing much as they did in life but with a small halo and medium sized wings sprouting from their backs. Often, but not always dogs.

Saints are the reformed souls of great paladins. Appearing as they did in life, but with an ever radiating aura of light and Good. They can detect Evil from 7 miles away and their tears have highly magical properties. Saint's tears effects include turning rancid potions good, general highly curative properties, visions, and increased Light magic prowess.

Seraphim are much like angels, but more wrathful; having six wings wreathed in everlasting holy fire, these are the generals in the most literal holy wars.

Solar Giants are roughly 40 feet tall, immense, hulking figures with golden skin. Able to undergo a certain mammalian version of photosynthesis to sustain nourishment from the bright sun of Lumenis, they are generally proud and peaceful creatures.

Torrential Zealots are the reformed souls of Aquamancers who have lived and died in the service of Good and Light, to be reborn as spear-wielding monks that hold the magics of both Light and Water at their fingertips. Not generally allowed in Lumenis proper due to their chaotic nature, they hate Lamias, Blazing Savages, and for that matter all demons with a passion so fiery it almost boils their watery skin.

Woodblessed are the reformed souls of Druid which have died in the service of Light and Good. They appear as they did in life but with wooden skin, and viney hair. They control Light and Nature magic, and are rather peaceful, unless given the direction for war by their superiors.
