Sydneys POV

"Bye Grams!" I shouted as I walked to the front door putting my denim jacket on, it matched perfectly with my dark washed jeans and my purple tee shirt.

"Bye sweetie" My Grams said as she walked towards me with a muffin, making me smile.

"You can never leave the house on an empty stomach" she said handing me the blueberry deliciousness, I smiled and kissed her on the cheek before running out the front door and into Veronica's car.

"Morning girl!" she said cheerfully, as she lowered the music.

"Hey! Thanks for coming to get me! How'd you know where I lived anyways?" I asked her, I had been thinking about it all night really, how did she know I lived here? And how did she know my cell phone number? To be honest its really creepy.

"Oh girl!" She said as she started to laugh, I looked at her now confused

"I'm not creepy or anything" she said still giggling "My mom works in the main office and I helped her this afternoon file your papers and I saw that you lived with your Grandma' she said with a bit of laughter in her voice

"Oh" is all I said in response because I still have no idea why she was laughing so hard. Almost as if she was reading my mind she said

"I was laughing because you asked me as if I was going to give you some creepy answer like, I followed you home from school or something" she said falling into a fit of giggles. This caused me to laugh along with her. It was kinda funny.

After a few minutes of a comfortable silence we finally arrived at the school, and when I got out of the car it was basically like everyone's eyes in the parking lot were staring directly at me. I looked over at Veronica for help but she was way ahead. I ran to catch up with her

"hey hey hey slow down there buddy" I said a little out of breath. She laughed.

"Did you see that" I asked her, talking about the stares outside, she sighed

"It happens every day, especially when I'm with Terianne or Tyler" a shiver went through my body at the mentioning of Tyler.

"That must be annoying" I said trying to ignore the thoughts about Tyler.

"Tell me about it" was all she said as we went entered our first class.

When lunch finally rolled around it felt like forever, I had so many projects and tests and it was only my second day of school! I groaned and got on the lunch line, after a few moments I felt a pair of eyes on me, turning around my eyes locked with Tylers deep pools of grey and purple.

Tylers POV

I sensed Sydney's presence the second she walked into the building. Being an Alpha my senses were increased... a lot. Even more than your average were wolfs. The whole morning I was hoping to see her in one of my classes, but no such luck. She was so beautiful. The way her long brown hair fell, her curves, her eyes, her everything was beautiful.

'And shes all ours' my wolf said in the back of my head.

'not yet' I replied, 'she's human, she doesn't even know what a mate is, or that werewolves exist'

I mean human mates weren't rare or anything it just made the mating process much longer and much different then it would be if I was a mate to a werewolf, because with the humans you must gain their trust first then after a long while let them in on our little secret. Whereas if I had a werewolf mate, she would already know and we could complete the mating process the day we meet. Just thinking about the mating process with Sydney made me hard. Pulling me from my thoughts was the scent of my beautiful mate. I looked up and searched the room, until my eyes finally landed on her.
