I jolted awake with a pain in my chest. It feels like I have a massive weight on top of me that only allows me to breathe in small amounts. I try to look around but suddenly my head feels like it's a thousand pounds. I feel almost paralyzed. The thought alone is enough to give me enough adrenaline to scream. I scream so loud I without a doubt woke everyone in the house if not the neighbors too. I try to move but I can't . It's like every part of my body suddenly weights 10x more. Tyler is the first to arrive, he slams the door open and runs towards me, terrianne and his parents follow soon after.
"Sydney baby what's wrong?" Tyler asks panicked.
I don't have enough energy to speak. But the silent tear that ran down my cheek lit a lightbulb in Tyler's head.
"Mom, she's shifting." He said almost in shock.
Shifting what the hell is he talki-
"WHAT?!?" His mother shouted.
"This makes no sense, you guys didn't mate why would she shift so early on?" Terrianne says.

HELLO PEOPLE I AM RIGHT HERE CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY I FEEL LIKE ALL OF LIFE HAS BEEN SUCKED OUT OF ME! I mentally shout. But of course nobody can hear my thoughts and they go back to speaking about me like I'm not there.

"Well she is only half human, so I guess now that she found her mate it activated automatically. It's just she is rare. Normally werewolf and human offspring is always werewolf. So maybe because she is human the circumstances are different." Tyler's dad states, now deep in thought.

Werewolf human offspring, what the fuck?

This has to be a dream.

"I'll go call the elders" Tyler's dad says before abruptly leaving the room.

Tyler places his hand on my arm
"Don't worry princess, the pain will go away in an hour or so and the shift will occur, I know this is weird but be strong." He says removing his hand.

A strangled whimper escapes my mouth....  what the hell. What am I a dog?

I voice says in my head.

Wait what a voice says in my head!?!?

This is definitely a dream.

Sydney this isn't a dream. Just let all of ur fears go and become one with me. My "mind" or other "mind" says.

I'm not your other mind I'm your wolf, Zarea ( pronounced Zar-Ria ).

And then I let the darkness take over.

I woke up outside, surrounded by four giant wolves. I was going to scream until I realized that I had paws, PAWS! oh my god oh my god okay okay this is all a dream I chanted over and over in my head.

"This isn't a dream honey, just let it be. You are a werewolf and I am your wolf" that annoying voice said in my head.

Oh my god I have voices in my head, Im going crazy.

I began shaking my head, looking around frantically only to see the large brown almost black wolf growl.

"Mate" The voice in my head repeated over and over again.

The three other wolves ran away at the sound of his growl and in moments, the wolf became man. But not just any man, Tyler.

And not just any Tyler.

Naked Tyler.

I mean totally naked Tyler.

I allowed my eyes to roam over his body, which caused him to let a growl escape his plump lips.

"Sydney, you have the most beautiful amber wolf I have ever seen. You are stunning." he said now walking closer to me.

"Now I need you to shift back to human again, to do that close your eyes, and think of yourself and as many details about your face and body that you can remember in this moment. The shift will come naturally." he said backing away a step or two.

Pain.

Went through my entire body for about 5 seconds, until I was me again, standing on my own two feet.

Oh thank god.

Tyler growled

I tried to look for what was getting him mad, but I didn't see anything, until I followed his gaze, on my body.

I was standing in the middle of the woods naked, with a naked man standing across from me growling.
