Lily and I searched frantically around to find the source of the growl. It held power and was meant to dominate. We heard a rustle in the trees and slowly two huge wolves emerged from the forest. Both definitely held authority but the black one was highly powerful. He had sky blue eyes that were as pristine as the lake which were flicking back and forth, he was trying to control his wolf who was wanting to come out. I gasped as I smelt the smell of caramel and coffee as the wolf came closer. He was my mate!
Mate mate mate! Go to mate! Jade squealed.
I got up, my knees knocking against each other. The black wolf was baring his canines at me. I whimpered so confused as to why my mate was approaching me like this. I turned to Lily for support but saw her gaze fixed to the brown wolf behind my mate. They were both staring at each other but unlike my mate, the brown wolf had a wolfy grin and Lily's eyes were shining. Lily had found her mate, my heart soared knowing we were going to be together. I couldnt gush with her about this though, feeling a cold dark stare on me.
I turned back shivering seeing those piercing blue eyes look at me. There was nothing there, no emotion whatsoever. I gave a big warm smile even though I was extremely terrified inside, this was my mate, my other half I was going to show him my joy that I found him. This did not seem to please him at all as he growled loudly, his front canines out and legs arched as to about to pounce. My legs buckled and I fell into a pit of darkness, the last thing I heard was Lily screaming my name.
