Chapter 6

Emily

My mate whose name I didn't even know was terrifying but very handsome. His eyes were piercing blue, he was only wearing shorts so I could see the ripples of his muscles. He had a six pack and everything screamed manly about him, if he could he would be able to pick me up with one hand. I sighed, although his beauty was something to be proud of as his mate, if he was the Alpha of Grey Stone pack then I was most definitely bonded to the devil incarnate.
He sounded so cruel but my heart didn't allow me to hate me, infact I wanted to hug him and find that light inside him that I had a feeling he had. I chuckled to myself, I could hear my mum lecturing me on how I shouldnt believe in everyone and not everyone is like me. Thinking about my mother brought a pang to my heart, my parents would be panicking most likely sending a hunt out for me. I look around me, the room was exactly how his personality was. The room was gigantic, dark black walls with navy blue curtains draped through out the room, the sheets on the bed were black silk and the carpet was the same dark blue. I didn't need to think about who the decorator was for this room.
A knock on the door broke me out of my thoughts, a girl with luscious black hair and blue eyes that were warm and friendly was smiling at me with what I could tell was a handful of clothes in her arms. "You must be Emily Rose, my name is Pippa it's really nice to meet you." I smiled, she seemed friendly, a quality I needed badly right now. " Hi Pippa, it is nice to meet you too. I got to ask you, do you think Mr Alpha grumpy pants will ever let me go back to my house today?" Pippa laughed and said "sorry Emily but theres no chance of that. Our Alpha is quite strict and stubborn but deep down he's a softie. His life is the pack and he would do anything for us to make sure we are safe."
" But he made it clear to me that he doesn't want anything to do with me. It is confusing though because his excuse was I need to stay for his wolf. If he rejected me he wouldn't have any ties to me."
Pippa sighed heavily and sat on the bed " Our Alpha has had a hard time, hes been alone most of his life and he has never relied on any one. I know he probably was harsh with you but I know he wants you. He wants to be cared and loved, he may say some silly things to you but trust me, he would protect you with his life. You are the safest here with him, safer than if you were with your parents . Alpha Onyx would not even let a piece of dust touch you Emily."
"I want to believe you and it is in my nature to give others a chance. I have a lot of love to give and that's the reason why I'm still staying here. Any other girl would have ran away by now, I will be patient with him but I will not be disrespected." I said.
Pippa nodded rapidly and said "thats understandable, just try please to be patient he's guarded for reasons but he needs you, not just his wolf but he does."
I smiled at her and said cheekiky "so what clothes do you have for me?"
" Well I have an outfit that is cute, an outfit that's comfortable and an outfit thats hot but will piss off Alpha ,sooo your pick!" She said laughing.
" I'll go for cute, that skirt is adorable!" It had maroon and white checked patterns with a bow in front paired with a white tank top tucked in
I paired these with white vans whilst Pippa insisted on braiding my hair.

I was just about done when a loud growl was heard outside. Pippa looked at me worriedly and rushed out , me following hot on her heels. We ran down to the forest border and my heart leaped at the sight before me. Alpha Brendon , his son Taylor, my dad and our best warriors were red in the face ready to shift into their wolves as my mate with his Beta and Gamma were casually looking at them with a bored but deadly expression. My eyes shifted behind them to see my mum and little Joshy  tearfully watching this unfold.
