Ricky bolted straight up. "AHHHHHHH!!" He was in a hospital bed in a dim room. There were three sharp knocks on the door. "Sir. A doctor is coming in." A female doctor dressed in doctor's scrubs walked into the room.

"Hello Ricky. My name is Sandra." She said slowly, as if she was speaking to a child. "Do you recall what happened yesterday?"

Ricky nodded. "She just wants to go into the light." Sandra gave him a puzzled look.

"No....You harmed a lot of the employees here. Can you tell me what caused you to behave like this?" She asked him.

She's treating me like a five year old

"I saw her." He mumbled.

"Saw who?"

"The girl in the lake. She wants to go into the light." He said staring at her. Suddenly she paled.

"Sir. I'm going to ask you to stay here. I'm going to get some nurses." She said hurriedly then rushed out of the room. He heard worried voices, muffled by the door. A large group of people rushed into the room. "Ricky I'm going to need you to stay calm. We are just going to hook you up to some machines. Are you havering trouble breathing? Do you feel cold?" He stared at her.

"No, why would I?" He asked.

"Ricky. You have no pulse." She said, holding up his wrist. He touched it softly.

"Huh, you're right. I wonder why that happened." He said casually. The doctor leaped back.

"Can you walk?" She asked hesitantly. He stood up and did a few laps around the room as the professionals watched with horror. "W-who was this girl that you were talking about before?"

"I saw her in my dream." He said, as he took a step towards Sandra. Who took a step back.

"Ricky I'm going to go get some assistance, ok? I'll be right back." She says as she half jogs out of the room.

"Ok."

Sandra ran down the hall, never in all her years had she seen this. He was dead, he had to be. This couldn't be scientifically possible. Her heart raced as she thought of his, standing still. She went to the front desk and smoothed out her uniform. "Emergency in room 6B Helen, we have a serious issue. I- I couldn't really explain it on the phone." She said, lowering her voice. After a team was assembled they ran into the room that Ricky was in.

But he was gone.

And the window was open, the curtain moving slightly with the soft breeze.
