I was taking a stroll in the park, walking Butterfly as the cold air bit into my cheeks. I had left the house without a jacket, and I was too far from my apartment to go back for it.

Just as usual, my stalker appeared next to me and I had to keep myself from turning around and going back home.

"Seems a bit too cold to be galavanting without a jacket on, don't you think?" He asked mockingly as he shoved his hands into his jacket pockets.

"I think I should probably get a restraining order." I mumbled as I stopped when Butterfly stopped and strutted back towards us, stopping by Johnny's feet.

"Isn't that a bit dramatic?"

"Why are you always where I am?"

"Chance encounter?" I gave him a blank look and he shrugged. "I promise, I'm not stalking you..." My eyes turned into slits as I stared at him. "Okay, okay. I have my ways... But I promise, I'm not stalking you."

"I think we have to reevaluate your definition of 'stalking'." I stated bluntly.

"Okay then, let me rephrase: I'm not looking into your house as you shower." He said with a proud smile.

"Why am I still talking to you?" I asked, mostly to myself, as I started walking again. I rubbed my arms lightly as the wind seemed to pick up.

"Because you can't resist my charms. It is what it is... I don't blame you."

"Egotistical much?"

"... Perhaps." He said with a light smile and shrug. "How is she?" He asked, refering to Butterfly who was now playing around a tree, chasing a spuirrel.

"Healthy, as she should be, and quite active."

"That's good." He took his sling bag off and put if know the bench next to him as we sat in silence, watching the overly excited pup run around.

It was a while before any of us said anything, and it was Johnny who broke the silence. "Will you go out with me?" He tried and I sighed.

Why does he keep wanting me to break his heart?

"No."

"No?"

Déjà vu?

"No."

I felt his hand take mine, warming it, and I looked down at it. "You're pretty stubborn." He said with a smile as he brought my cold hand go his lips and gave a small kiss to the back of it.

"You're one to talk, don't you think?" I said as I looked him up and down and he gave a genuine laugh.

"I get persistent when I want something." He explained.

"Jungwoo did tell me."

"Good... So you're aware. It's cool though. You can tell me no as many times as you won't. It'll happen eventually... It's inevitable, my love."

"Let me tell you something." I said as I leaned into his ear. "Sometimes, it's good to be confident... But this, whatever's going on with you right now... It's dangerous."

He moved back with a boisterous laugh. I just looked at Butterfly until he had calmed down.

"Thanks for the tip, love." He said once he was done laughing.

Suddenly, he grabbed my chin and gently kissed my cheek, leaving me shocked as he stood up and started unbuttoning his jacket.

"What... was that for?" I asked, holding my hand to my cheek.

"Just felt like it." He said with a smile as he took his jacket off and put it over my shoulders. "I want that back, dry cleaned and smelling like you." He said with a wink and I chuckled at his idiocy.

"You're an idiot."

"Yes I am... And soon, I'll be your idiot." He said before grabbing his bag and walking towards Butterfly, leaving me baffled.

He said something to her and she gave a small bark in response, he chuckled and petted her fur, looked at me, then stood up, put his bag over his shoulder and left, but not before giving me a quick wink.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes as I watched him walk away, hands in his pockets as he sauntered as if it were a perfect spring day. I looked down to see Butterfly claw at my pants in an attempt to get my attention.

"What did the tall, crazy doctor say, sweetheart? Hm?" I asked softly, picking her up and snuggling her into the front of Johnny's coat.
