However, before she could see his full face clearly, Jake appeared in front of her. Covered by Jake, Cora moved aside to look at the man but found him gone. Cora frowned. Maybe because of feeling tipsy, I am seeing things, thought Cora. Unbeknownst to her how wrong she was.

A man watched her from afar, heart hard as stone and cold as Antarctica. But no matter how cold-hearted he might be, a spark of emotion flared in his heart, however, it was gone as soon as it came. What is hatred? Confusion? Or something else? Although, one thing is quite clear. He refused to feel this emotion.

He watched her get inside a car with a man. She was smiling at him. As far as he heard they are not dating. Yet, Tyler Ambrose introduces her as his girlfriend. Are they trying to keep it private? thought he, Why should I care? It's not my headache. He tried to show he doesn't care but deep down he did care. He snapped out of his thoughts when someone lay their hand on his shoulder.

"Baby are you okay? I tried calling your name, but you weren't responding," said Nikki Volt looking at him with concern.

"I'm fine," he said. He stared at his girlfriend's brown eyes. He tried to forget the previous moment. But it kept on coming back as if she doesn't want to be forgotten. He gritted his teeth in anger before he pulled Nikki towards his awaiting car. The valet opened the back door for them. As soon he got inside his car, he speeded away to his penthouse.

"Baby, slow down. You're going too fast." But he paid no deed towards her. Within a few minutes, he arrived at his destination. Parking the car, he harshly pulled Nikki towards the elevator. Poor Nikki, couldn't do anything but tried to keep up with him in her high heels. As soon as the elevator door closed, he pushed her on the elevator wall and roughly kissed. Nikki gasped in surprise before trying to wrap her arms around his neck. However, he quickly pinned her hands above her head.

He shoved his tongue inside her mouth dominating her and she let him. The elevator opens, he lifts her and wraps her legs on his waist. The sound of dress tearing filled the elevator. But they ignore it. He carried her toward his penthouse. Somehow managing to open the door, they headed towards his room. Dropping her on his bed, he tore open her already torn dress and he carried on what he had in mind. He went on and on until he no longer had her in his mind.

Far away, Tyler walked with Cora to her door. Wishing her goodnight as he kissed her forehead, he left for his home. Cora, who was tired of the program, quickly changed and went to bed. As soon as her head hit her pillow, she blackout. The night went on, soon the sun began to rise. Sunlight flooded in her bedroom window and fell on her. Squinting her sleepy eyes against the sudden light, she woke up from her oblivion.

Following her morning routine, she soon started her day with a smile. The day went on with her usual workload. Signing contract, meeting. The sun began to set. The blue sky turns orange-yellow giving the sign to return home soon. Finishing the last document, Cora huffed, before stretching her stiff hands. Just then her office door stung open by Tyler.
