jily: more than friends

James

Sirius and I are playing Exploding Snaps but it hard for me to focus when the love of my life is sitting right in front of me. She looks so peaceful sitting there, reading her book. How could you not be in love with her? She is just curled up.. reading her book.

We soon arrive at Hogwarts. Oh, how I missed this place. I await the carriages, I get spilt up from the Marauders. Oh, lucky me, I get to ride in my carriage with Lily-flower! We were the fastest to get our trunks out and make our way, so we are sharing a carriage...

...with Snivellus, ugh. 

"Alright, in carriage 127 we have... James Potter, Lily Evans and Severus Snape," says Professor Flitwick. I watch as Lily shoots a happy glance at Snivellus, he just ignores it. That inrages me but makes me happy. Once Lily finds out he doesn't like her anymore she will have no choice but to hang out with me and the Marauders, seeing as McKinnon has taken an interest in Padfoot, and Alice and Moony seem to have become mates.

We hop onto the carriage, I sit across from Snivellus. I stare at him in anger, he angers me, i dont know why, but he does. 

LILY'S POV

This will be one hell of a carriage ride. I sense the tension between my somewhat best friend and my-half-enemy-half-almost-friend. I dont say Jam- Potter is my enemy because we aren't mean to eachother but the boy has GOT to stop hitting on me. The carriages start moving. A good two minutes in, they jolt to a stop. I fall forwards, I feel a muscular hand catch me as I fall. Potter. I get up and run a hand through my hair to make sure it isn't ruined. I whisper "thank you" to Potter and he nods.

SNAPE'S POV

God, I hate Potter. I really can't control my hatred towards him. Maybe if he were to stop being such a douche i would maybe hate the kid a little less. As soon as I see him catch Lily I get a rush of anger. I should've been the one to catch her. I should've been the one whos arms she fell in. This inraged me, so much I use a simple spell on Potter. "Eat Slugs!" I whisper, soon enough Potter is vomiting slugs. I presume Lily heard me, she gives me the dirtiest look and goes to Potters side. She does the counter curse and asks "are you alright?" "Yes" Potter replies.

JAMES'S POV

That damn boy. This'll teach him a lesson. "Volatilis Lutum!" I whisper very quietly. Soon enough bats come flying out of his nose. Lily sets out a sigh but whispers "good one" to me oh so quietly, so quiet i almost couldnt hear. He shoots another spell at me, the Finger-Removing Jinx. Oh this boy. I decide to end it there, don't want to make Lily-flower hate me even more, do I?

Soon we arrive at Hogwarts. Finally, I am starving. I make my way to the Great Hall, where I find Padfoot, Moony and Wormtail. Next to Padfoot is McKinnon, they seem to be having a really flirtatious conversation. Next to Moony is Alice, they are having an intellectual conversation about potions, thats such a boring conversation to have. I sit next to Wormtail and Lily has no choice but to sit between me and Padfoot. 

After Dumbledore's fifteen hour speech we get to eat. Me and Padfoot start destorying our supper, as if we have not eaten in three years. Lily looks at us with confusion and disgust. Padfoot sees her facial expression and says "you'll just have to leave with in" in a joking tone.
