That morning I wake up I see that Mar and Alice are already awake. They are playing a game of cards, I taught them a game called Go Fish. "Good morning!" Alice says "we are going to breakfast in our pyjamas if you want to join in." "Sure!" I reply with, I stand up, totally forgetting I'm wearing James's sweater. Marls let out a small gasp. "You slept in it, they are your pyjamas," Alice says. I groan "fine."

We head down to the Great Hall at 7:45 AM. We see the Marauders and go sit next to them. I sit next to James and Sirius lets out a chuckle and can't resist himself "isn't that Prongs sweater?" Oh god, they noticed. James asks "did you sleep in it?" And gives out a laugh. I nod, embarrassed. We all continue eating and Sirius can't stop looking back and forth between me and James. Oh, god. I finish eating and go to walk back to my dormitory to change. Remus comes with me, as he is finished too. We talk the whole way there. "Hey, Lils? I can't restrain myself, I have to ask. Are you and James dating?" Remus asks. I let out a soft chuckle and say "no, we are just friends." 

I reach my room and me and Remus go our separate ways. I throw on a pair of light blue jeans with a black knit crop top that is cross tied at the bottom and black Converse. Alice and Mar come in and get changed. We are going to Hogsmeade to get our outfits for the Halloween Dance. We have a free day today, I'm not sure why, but Mars, Alice and I decide to spend it in Hogsmeade, like I said

We arrive there at 12 PM. We head to a dress shop. We search for a while and try on a few dresses. Alice trys on a beautiful short white lace dress with a line of jewels. It looks so beautiful.  Then she trys on a beautiful baby pink spaghetti strap dress with little jewels spread out.              Next Marlene trys on a beautiful dark red off the shoulder. It goes down to her feet and has jewels on the top. Then she trys on a black V-neck that has a tint of green. She looks beautiful.    Lastly, we have me. I try on this beautiful baby blue flowy short dress. I feel like a princess in it. It has a lace design on the neck and it looks gorgeous. The last dress I try on is a dark blue short dress. It has jewels and lace at the top and is velvety on the bottom.

We pick the dress we loved most. Marls picks the black-ish green one, I pick the baby blue one and Alice picks the baby pink one. I get white flats, Marls gets black heels and alice gets the white booties. We spend the next hour in Hogsmeade looking through shops. We end our shopping day with a Butterbeer. 

When we get back to Hogwarts it is 2 PM. I go to do my homework.

JAMES'S POV

I basically spend all day finishing homework and playing games with the Marauders. We were gonna play a game with Mar, Alice and Lily but they went to Hogsmeade for some reason. I go into the common room to sit at a table, it's way more comfortable to sit at a desk and do homework than to be sitting in bed doing it. Alice, Mar and Lily-flower walk in, I ask them 'where have you been?" "Hogsmeade." Lily replies with. They run off.

It's 5:25, which means there is five minutes till dinner. I race Sirius down there. We set up a prank at the Slytherin table. Glitter will fall into their food, this will be so funny. We all sit and our food all magically appears in front of us. Me and Sirius are waiting in anticipation. Soon it goes off, covering the Slytherin table is glitter. We better run. Sooner than we expect McGonagall is chasing us down the hall. We run into the Gryffindor common room and up to our dormitary. She bursts in the door with anger on her face, she says "60 points from Gryffindor and detention for 3 days!" She forces us to stay in our dorm until tomorrow. I think she only gave us 3 days cause Gryffindor is having a Quidditch match against Slytherin. We play a game of wizards chess. Remus and Peter come in and say "that was awesome." "How much trouble did you get in from Minny?" Peter asks, "3 days detention and 60 points off." "Hah, ten galleons please?" Remus says to Peter holding out his hand. "Dammit," Peter says. 

Now it is around 11:30 PM and we all gather to play truth or dare. I start, asking Alice "truth or dare?" She replies with dare. I dare her to scream into someone's dorm. She did it and they hit her. Ouch. We continue until McGonagall catches us a 3 AM.

I stay in the common room while everyone else goes to sleep. I can't sleep. Last night I had a nightmare, a horrible one. I can't even describe it, I know, I am James Potter, fearless. Soon its 4 AM. 5... 6.. 7..8. I didn't sleep all night. I have large bags under my eyes and I keep zoning out. 

this was a weird chapter lol but i ran outta ideas.
