Violet ran down the stairs at Grimmauld Place with her long red hair bouncing behind her. She reached the kitchen and immediately jumped onto her godfather's back, making him spin around in surprise, before realizing who it was. Violet rested her chin on his shoulder, grinning and said,

"Hi, Siri! Can you run around? I want a piggy-back ride." He laughed,

"Of course Vi!" The sixteen-year-old redhead laughed and held on to him tighter as he ran around. She may be sixteen, but she loved getting piggy-back rides, especially from Siri. He was both her and her twin brother, Harry's godfather, and he was the absolute best. Unfortunately, he was locked up in Azkaban for twelve years for a crime he didn't commit. Luckily he had escaped three years ago, and now unless she was at school, Violet never left his side. Harry wasn't as close to him, he preferred to spend time with Ron and Hermione, but Violet and Siri were practically best friends.

Violet shrieked with laughter as they ran into the kitchen where an order meeting was just beginning. Siri plopped into his chair and pulled Violet off his back. Violet just shrugged and sat in his lap, propping her feet up on the table in front of her. Everyone else stared at them, they all adored how close the two of them had become ever since Siri had escaped Azkaban. Violet knew this and didn't really care, she just loved spending time with him. She leaned back on Siri and casually asked,

"So, what does Tommy want now?" They eyed her disapprovingly, but Siri laughed.

"Don't necessarily know. He's been getting a lot more active ever since Fudge saw him at the ministry last year. We do have our suspicions though." Violet glanced up at him curiously,

"What do you think?" His gaze immediately darkened,

"An old friend from school. She disappeared, and Voldemort's been after her for years." Her smile dropped,

"That's awful! Why in Merlin's name would he want a person?" This time it was Remus who answered,

"She was powerful, very powerful, and she knew things that were going to happen before they did. She met Voldemort when Peter leaked to him about how much she knew. She was kidnapped." Violet scowled, her hair turning an darker shade of red in anger, and her green eyes flashing dangerously,

"That's horrible. I hope she's okay." Siri's grip tightened around her and he practically growled,

"She is, and she will be if I have anything to say about it." Violet laughed,

"That's good, she's lucky to have you Siri." He smiled at the redhead,

"Thanks Vi, Dumbledore wants to talk to you by the way." Violet frowned, why would Dumbledore want to talk to her? She jolted out of her thoughts by Dumbledore himself pushing open the door. He gestured for her to follow him and she reluctantly stood. Before she could walk away however, Siri pulled her into his arms and buried his head in her hair, mumbling,

"Be safe Vi. I'll see you soon." Violet was confused but she hugged him back and said,

"Don't worry Siri. I'll be fine. It's just Dumbledore. I'll be back soon." He nodded and reluctantly let go, but Violet could see something in his eyes as she turned to follow Dumbledore, it looked kind of like...longing? She wondered what he was longing for as she followed Dumbledore to another room.

"Hello Professor Dumbledore, to what do I owe this pleasure?" Dumbledore's blue eyes twinkled,

"Hello Miss Potter. I need to send you back in time." Violet stared at him in confusion. Surely this was a joke, you don't just walk in and say that you need to send someone back in time, especially not Violet. She had a life here and people who needed her.

Dumbledore, sensing her worry and confusion smiled kindly,

"It's not forever, and barely any time will have passed here when you return. A couple months at most." Violet was extremely confused,

"Erm-Professor? Why send me back in time at all? And to when?"

"1976 of course. As for why, there are things you need to understand and experience." She frowned,

"But what about school?" Dumbledore smiled,

"You will go to school there as well." Violet's eyes widened as she finally realized what he was implying,

"You mean I get to meet my parents?" Dumbledore nodded solemnly,

"Yes, just not as yourself. You will have to change your appearence. As a metamorphagus it shouldn't be too hard. Your name will also change, in 1976 it will be Eva Dumbledore. You will be posing as my granddaughter who was expelled from Beauxbatons for a prank. You can speak French, yes?" Violet blinked at him,

"Well yes, I can speak a lot of languages. Won't the Dumbledore from that time be confused though?" Dumbledore shook his head,

"No he won't. He will already know everything. Are you ready?" She blinked at him in shock,

"You mean right now?" Dumbledore nodded,

"Yes, right now. I will be sending you back to the day before term starts in my office. He'll know who you are and get all of your school things. Good luck Violet Potter." She stared at him for a moment before he pulled out his wand and shot purple light at her.

She could no longer see Dumbledore, or the room. All she could she was swirling colors. She blinked, and she could see again. She was now standing in Dumbledore's office, and a younger version of him was smiling at her.

"Hello Eva. Time to change your appearance then, go on." For a moment she stared at him, before shaking herself out of her shock and concentrating.

When she finished, she had light blue eyes, the exact same shade as Dumbledore's and she also had long wavy golden-brown hair. She smiled to herself, liking her new persona. She smiled mischievously at Dumbledore,

"Hello, Grandfather."
