It was the day of the full moon and Eva was incredibly nervous. Remus had been gone the whole day in the hospital wing, and the other marauders were just as stressed as her.

When the sunset began, Eva paced around in front of the fireplace nervously, while Lily worked on her homework on the couch near her. Around nine, the boys stood up and exited the portrait hole, most likely to find Remus and go to the Shrieking Shack with him. Eva darted out after them and shifted into her fox form. She dashed through the corridors, avoiding Filch and the other professors, and came to a halt in front of the Whomping Willow. She darted past the branches and through the passage that came out in the Shrieking Shack. Then, she curled up and waited for the boys to come.

Fifteen minutes later, they came through the passage supporting Remus. They froze when they saw her in fox form and James made shooing gestures for her to leave,

"Go! You can't be here, stupid fox!" He hissed. Eva only cocked her head, and stared unblinkingly at him. He looked a bit creeped out and muttered,

"Creepy fox," making Eva laugh inwardly. She followed them through the shack to a room, and watched, for the second time in her life, as Remus transformed into a werewolf. She flinched with every sound of breaking bones, and she could see the boys do so as well. She watched in fascination as Sirius, James, and Peter transformed into their animagus forms. They tried to get her to run again, but she made no move to leave, making them undoubtedly exasperated. Remus noticed his new companion and tilted his head before leaning forward and sniffing her. Eva let him, before swishing her tail in his face playfully. He looked a bit taken aback, before joining her in playing. The boys watched in astonishment as Eva played with Remus, keeping him occupied. They had never really seen him act like that. The werewolf and the fox were acting like they were best friends.

Eva really didn't know why he wasn't attacking her in more ways than playfully, but she was really quite glad about it.

The next morning, Eva had to use her metamorphagus powers to hide the bags under her eyes. She was exhausted, but happy that Remus was in much better shape than normal. She joined Lily at breakfast and put her head on Lily's shoulder tiredly.

"Hey Lils," she murmured sleepily. Lily laughed and fed her a piece of bacon.

"Tired?"

"Mmhmm." She muttered, half-asleep. A couple minutes later, the Marauders came in and took in the scene of Eva looking half-asleep on Lily's shoulder.

"Aww," cooed James. Lily just rolled her eyes and kept feeding Eva bacon. Siri slid into the seat on the other side of Eva, and pulled her from Lily's shoulder to his own. Eva stubbornly leaned back to Lily's shoulder, making her smirk, and Siri roll his eyes. He pulled her back off Lily's shoulder and onto his, and when she tried to pull away, he wrapped and arm around her. She glared sleepily at him, but he just grinned cheekily. She rolled her eyes and relaxed into his hold on her, falling asleep quickly. Siri thought this was adorable, and stared at her and she slept.

"You are so whipped, mate." James said. Siri shook his head indignantly,

"No, I'm not!" He so was.

Eva woke up a while later, and found herself laying in someone's lap in the common room. She blinked and sat up, before looking around to find Siri smirking at her. It appeared he was the one she was asleep on. She glared at him,

"I thought you were over kidnapping!" She exclaimed angrily. Siri winked,

"I may be over kidnapping, but I'm not over you!" He said cheekily. She blinked. Was he flirting with her? No, probably not, and even if he was, she didn't want to be one of his bimbos.

"That's really great, Black. Now would you please let go of me!" Siri grinned,

"If you give me a kiss." Eva glared at him,

"In your dreams, Black." Siri winked again,

"You can count on it." Remus gagged and Eva was a second away from doing to same. She angrily pushed his arms off her, and stalked up to her dormitory where Lily was sitting.

"I've changed my mind. I don't like him at all." She growled collapsing onto Lily's bed next to her. Lily looked up,

"Well, that's a shame. He can be such an idiot sometimes." Eva nodded,

"You've got that right. I think I've finally found out how you came up with arrogant toe-rag. Do you mind if I use it sometimes?" Lily shook her head,

"Not at all." Eva smirked,

"Thanks Lils."

"It's my pleasure." They grinned at each other, before Lily jumped up, dragging Eva with her.

"Let's go find Sev." Eva grinned,

"Yes, please. I've come up with a new nickname for him." Lily laughed and they left their dormitory. When they got to the common room, Lily gave James a small smile, while Eva pointedly ignored Siri, who pouted at the lack of attention.

Eva and Lily hurried through the corridors right up to where Severus was sitting in a windowsill.

"Sev!" Lily exclaimed, hugging him. Eva grinned at him mischeiviously,

"I've come up with my own nickname for you!" She said proudly. Severus looked at at her curiously,  "What is it?" Eva grinned at him.

"Tobi." She said. Severus stared at her for a moment, before a small smile came to his lips.

"That'll work. Thanks Eve." Eva grinned.

"My pleasure. Shall we go down to the Black Lake?" Severus and Lily nodded and the three of them went and sat at the base of a huge tree near the lake. They spent all afternoon there, laughing and joking, and having fun. Eva was quite happy in this time period. She had some amazing friends, even if Siri was much better when he was older, and she was so glad that Lily knew who she really was. It was much more peaceful than her actual time period, and she loved it here. While Harry had his best friends in his own time period, Eva had always been closer with Siri and Remus. Siri more so, but he was an arrogant toe-rag in this time, so he didn't count.
