Back Through Time (Marauders)

Chapter Four

Eva stared at her for a moment. This girl was her mother. Then she grinned,

"You must be Lily Evans!" Lily laughed,

"That I am. You're our new dormmate, right? What's your name?" Inwardly Eva wished she could tell her real name, but she knew better,

"I'm Eva. Eva Dumbledore." Lily's jaw dropped,

"Are you related to Professor Dumbledore?" Eva laughed and nodded,

"Yep, he's my grandfather. You aren't allowed to tell the marauders though. James already knows sice we met in Diagon Alley, but the other three don't and I want to see their faces when they realize I'm a Dumbledore. I met them at the feast. I basically told them who they were since I know about loads of things that go on at Hogwarts. Their faces were priceless!" Lily burst out laughing and dragged Eva over to her bed.

"That's brilliant Eva! Can I be there when they figure it out?" Eva smirked,

"Of course you can. You are offically my new best friend!" Lily squealed and hugged her,

"That's wonderful bestie. Would you like to eat breakfast with me?" 

"Of course! Let's get to bed though, I want to wake up on time for class." Lily grinned,

"Good to know you actually care about classes. Which one is your favorite?" 

"Definately Potions. What about you?" 

Same! I love Potions. I have a friend who loves it too." Eva grinned slyly,

"Let me guess. Is he a half-blood with black hair named Severus Tobias Snape?" Lily gaped at her for a moment before grinning,

"Is that like what you did to the marauders at the feast? Because if so, it was totally brilliant!" Eva beamed,

"Why thank you, and yes, that is nearly the exact thing." Lily squealed,

"This is going to be such a fun year. People are going to be so confused as to how you know about everything. It'll be great!" Eva grinned at the redhead,

"Thanks! I can't wait to show off my knowlege. See you tomorrow Lil's." 

"See you tomorrow Eve."

They grinned at each other and went to bed. Eva was glad to have made such a great friend. Especially since it was her own mother.

The next morning, Eva woke up at 5:45 am as usual. She was a huge early bird, and loved the quiet of the mornings. She slipped out of bed and cast a silencing charm on the bathroom before taking a shower and getting ready for school.

By the time she was completely ready with her hair done, and her bag packed, Lily was beginning to wake up. When she saw Eva she laughed and exclaimed,

"And I thought I was an early bird!"Eva laughed,

"Well you are, I'm just more of one. Hurry please, I'm starved," Lily laughed, but hurried all the same. Half and hour later, she was ready too, and they both departed to the Great Hall. They stepped out of the portrait hole, and Eva smiled warmly at Anne,

"Good morning Anne." Anne smiled back,

"Good morning Eva, have a good day." Eva beamed,

"Thanks, you too." She pulled Lily away, who was still looking between them in confusion.

"Anne?" she questioned. Eva nodded,

"Yes, that's her name, she's quite lovely." Lily laughed and shook her head,
