Not what I expected

"Are you gonna kill me monster?" I growled. I'll admit this beast didn't look as bad as all the stories made out, but looks can be deceiving besides he's probably gonna kill me like they killed my parents. I can't believe I was so stupid to get caught! The beast stared at me with dark forest eyes and I didn't break the gaze I wasn't going to cower to him. I heard another scream and turned my head to see Nya had been picked up bridal style by a beast who looked way to happy for my tastes. "Nya!" I said and tried running to her, but the stupid beast wouldn't let me go and growls. "Why she so important to you?" It asks in a dark dangerous tone like it cared. "She's my little sister I'm not going to stand by and let you monsters take another part of my family," I said to it not keeping my eyes off Nya as she tried getting out of the beasts grip crying under her blindfold. His eyes seem to tone down a bit. "Just let me go you beast," I spat. He didn't respond to me instead he asked.

"How old are you?" "Twenty what does it matter do you have a age limit? No killing innocent humans under twelve or do you just like asking random questions before ripping them apart?" I responded back venom laced in my voice, but he only seemed to hear the part that said how old I am. He pulled me closure and I realized exactly how we were standing. I was smaller than him and met just above his chest and our bodies were touching as he kept his arm around my waist while the other was holding my chin as he looked me over. He must be wondering why I wasn't scared. After a moment he sniffs my neck and something possessive mixed with something I wasn't sure of appears in his dark eyes as he said two words.

"My Mate,"

"What! You got it wrong," he cut me off. "A wolf like me is never wrong in their mate come now," The monster said letting me go slightly and I took steps back looking behind myself to see I had lost sight of Nya. Stupid beast he was distracting me so his buddy could take my sister. I felt my anger flare. "I'm not going anywhere with you murderous monsters," I hissed at him. He got angry at my words and growled before lunging. I expected him to rip my throat out, but instead he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder holding my legs so I couldn't kick him. "Put me down!" I yelled. By now the people in the church looked out the only viewing area not boarded up. It was at the top of the church bell and they saw me I heard yelling. "You can't take him he's a boy! He was in the church you can't take anyone in the church," The yells we're heard. The beast stopped and looked up and I tried getting him to put me down before he continued walking away from what was left of the offerings. He took me to a car and opened the back door and threw me in then closed it locking it. I bang on the glass and doors trying to get out. "You stay here while I go and deal with your town," The beast told me and left. I continue trying to get out he cannot do this I would rather die than be one of those monsters sex slaves.

Cole

My mate is quite feisty and I love it, but he seemed to hate my kind more than anything his anger in his eyes never left. I needed to find out why he hates my kind, so much he mentioned us taking another part of his family maybe he had another sister? The pack was retreating since it was almost time for the next packs to roll in the smaller ones. But I needed to speak to the town mayor about this. If they think I took someone from the church they will have a good reason to go to war with the wolves and I would like to spare the blood shed. I walked past the remaining women which was about fifteen left all scared and shivering.

I knocked on the church door and yelled. "I would like to speak with your mayor!" In a booming alpha voice. After some hushed whispers and a bit of talking a old lady in her late fifties came out. She had long greying hair set in a tight bun and wire rim glasses with brown eyes and wrinkles wearing a professional business suit. "You know why I'm here," I said. "Yes and I will say you and all your kind aren't allowed to take anyone in the church even if you are the alpha of this pack," she said. All leaders of the towns, villages, and cities knew what each alpha looked like for problems where we need to talk. "Actually I found him outside the church watching from behind some trash," I said and the lady seemed a little shocked. "But he was accounted for he left to barricade the back," she said. "I'll give you a exact minute to go check if the back is barricaded," I said. She gulps nodding and quickly left inside fifty seconds later she came back pale. "I'm so sorry he must have wanted to protect his sister, but you cannot take him. He will be punished, but it's unallowed it isn't part of the treaty agreement," The mayor said. "Actually the agreement said offerings from 18-30 had to be offered in town square from eight o'clock to midnight anyone in the church is safe and the offerings are only taken if they are taken by their mate. It never said it just had to be girls you always just give girls," I said to her. She thought for a moment before realization dawned. "But the town won't stand for this," she said. "Just tell them he tried getting in the way of tonight and we are making a example out of him. Nothing needs to change," I said. She thought before nodding her head. "Okay," she agrees. "But before you go does he have any more siblings?" I asked and the lady shook her head. "No his only sibling was taken tonight," She said and I frown. "Family?" I ask. "None his parents were killed when he was nine everyone knows about it. Sad tale to tell really everyone pity's them both," The lady told me and I grow concern. "How did they die?" I ask. "One of your rogues broke in to their house and killed his parents when it was not of choosing ceremony and the mother was over age. Your father gave us permission to kill the beast for his crimes, but the boy has a deep hatred for your kind because of it," the lady explains and it did add up. "Okay thank you remember what's really happened stays secret," I said she nods and left back into the church and I go back to the car. I had so many thoughts running through my head about this all. It makes sense he would hate us with the stories they tell to the human children and watching one of my own kind kill his parents in front of his eyes at such a young age. The I know it might sound pompous or selfish, but I was annoyed. Usually a alpha is supposed to have sex with their mate the night they meet, but I cannot just have sex with him when he hates me well my kind that would hurt him both physically and emotionally. Most wolves start out really mean and possessive of their mates and have sex with them on the first night whether their mate wanted it or not before growing kinder. I was not going to do that to my new luna I love him too much already even if he hates my very existence, but I'll work on it he will grow to become my Luna.

My Luna

The thought made me giddy I thought I would never get to meet my mate and now I finally have him. "Get off me you beast," I heard my mate yell. My instincts kicked in and I ran to the SUV car and saw my newly acquired mate being dragged out from someone not from my pack. I growl and was about to rip the wolf's ugly little throat out before my mate kicked him in the balls. The wolf howls in pain then my mate punches his face breaking his nose. He pinned the wolf then started kicking and punching him repeatedly. I intervened then grabbing him and pulling him back. "Hey! Let me at him I wasn't done," He shouts then scowls when he realized it was me. "You fucking crazy bitch!" The man said backing up clutching his bruised ribs and his face was bloody. "Don't talk to my mate that way," I growled. He tries getting out of my grip. "Your not my mate," he snaps. I got to admit I felt my heart breaking I almost forgot about the man he beat up. Someone else showed up who had long hair in a pony tail and very feminine figure. "What happened?" She asks. "He broke in and tried taking my clothes off that's what," My mate snaps and I growled and pulled my mate to my body protectively holding my arm around his waist. I don't care if such a beautiful creature hated me I was not letting anyone hurt him he's suffered enough. "Take him to whoever is in charge of your pack make sure he gets punished for this," I said and the lady nodded sensing I was a alpha and lifted the man away. I looked at my mate who was staring at me with what I like to think of as a awe inspiring look maybe he liked the authoritative me.

I thought with a giddy feeling. He must have seen the lust in my eyes because his became angry again and he tried pushing me away. I sighed and threw him in the back again locking the doors. I got in and started the car. "Please put your seat belt on," I said. "Why? It would be harder to strangle you," He responds with snark. "You do that while I'm driving we both die," I said. He thought before putting his seat belt on and I start up the car.

Kai

I crossed my arms glaring at this beast who kept on looking at me from the rear view mirror. He keeps insisting I'm his mate, but I'm not even into guys. Sure it did feel nice when he used that commanding voice and was protective, but then he got that dark lusting look in his eyes and I pushed away. I'll admit now that I've gotten a better look he does have a very well built body, raven locks, green forest eyes, flawless skin, he is actually really hot....wait! Kai get ahold of yourself this things probably planning to rape you when we get back to whatever cave he lives in. I hope and pray Nya's okay and that mum and dad are watching over her. Can he even do this? A boy has never been taken by a beast.

"My names Cole and I'm your mate even if you aren't warmed up to the idea quite yet. Are you gonna tell me your name?" The beast asks me. I glared and stayed quiet too spite him. 'Cole' takes a deep breath annoyed at me and I smiled satisfied. "Well then what should I call you because I got some names," he said. When I remain quiet he starts listing them. "Doll, spiky, Amber eyes, sexy," I stopped him at that. "Fine fine my names Kai," I said and he smiles repeating my name and rolling it off his tongue. "Kai such a simple yet beautiful name it suits you," Cole said. "Yours does too it suits you because your hearts made of coal," I spat. He frowns at me and I feel ashamed for a moment and wanted to say sorry, but I was not going to give in to the monsters who killed my parents. "If you keep crushing my heart like this it could become a diamond," he said casually and I rolled my eyes at him. "I demand to speak to someone about this," I said. He raises a eyebrow. "Who?" He asks. "I don't know, but there's got to be something against you taking me and making me your little cocktoy to play with as you please," I said with venom. Cole flinches at how I described what I had learned of the relationships between these beasts. "I won't hurt you in any way," He said. "I don't want to be here I want to talk to whoever's in charge of all this stuff," I demanded in a quiet voice compared to all my earlier interactions. He was quiet before stopping and turning to look at me. "You want to talk to who's in charge?" He asks me and I nodded. "Well then talk I'm the alpha of my pack and frankly basically the king," Cole said. I didn't believe him. "Yeah right," I scoff. "It's true even if what that asshole was doing was wrong you beating him to a pulp. Which I found super hot. Do you really think they would care if I was just some commoner wolf who had just found their mate? The only reason they didn't kill you was because I am the alpha of the worlds biggest pack," Cole explains to me. I thought for a moment the beasts did respect positions of other packs and could apparently sense it or something. And he was right so that meant. "You really are the alpha," I said in a soft voice above a whisper. He smiles. "Yep now get some sleep it's going to be a long ride home," Cole said turning back and starting up the car. I sat there blankly for a second before putting my knees to my chest hugging them then putting my head to my chest. I didn't know what to think or do so that's how I stayed until eventually sleep took me.
