Gone

(So themes get kind of dark here, but nowhere close to my other story "old winds" which if you bother reading this author's note go check out please unless you have already read it)

Cole had to leave me in the room too heal while he dealt with official business stuff. I was soooo bored. I grabbed a random history book and started reading about this war between a different tribe. After a hour I heard the giant doors open and I looked up seeing a guard in a uniform.

"Hey did Cole call you here?" I asked. The guard looked at me and I realize he didn't look like most of the other people in this place. His eyes were red and his skin was pale. "Yes he said to give you this," the guard walks over and hands me a pastry box. "Thanks," I said and he nodded leaving. I opened the box to see a vanilla cupcake with red icing. I was a little peckish for my sweet tooth and I got it out of the box and started eating it. Once I was done half of it I started feeling tired. I put the cupcake down on the side table and laid down to sleep. Out of the corner of my vision I saw the guard coming back, but I just let sleep take me.

Nya's POV

Jay was busy with some meeting so I decided to check up on Kai after that fight at the orphanage. When I got to the doors I saw that three guards were on the floor unconscious, at least I hope. Four other guards were standing there looking into the room Kai was supposed to be in. I hid behind the corner watching as a guard came out with Kai unconscious and slung over his shoulder. I gasp covering my mouth.

"We got the Luna let's go," The gruff voice of the guard holding my brother said. My eyes widened and I was about to scream when a hand was wrapped around my mouth. "Quiet princess,"

With the other no ones POV

"We have evidence saying that your pack tried stealing my Luna!" Cole yells at alpha Skales of the serpentine pack who had come. "Your pack tried kidnapping my son!" He hisses back. "We did not what evidence is that?" Cole asks. "We interrogated your members we captured at the attempt and they said they belonged to yours," Skales said. The rest of the room was relatively quiet listening to the two leaders shouting at each other. At this point it was likely the two would go to war again.

Suddenly Nya barrels into the room out of breath and disheveled. "Nya what's wrong?" Jay asks moving to his mate. "KAI'S BEEN KIDNAPPED!" Nya yelled and the room went stiff. A moment later the Luna of the serpentine pack ran in out of breath. "SKALES JUNOIR IS GONE!" She yelled. A moment later everything went into up roar as most of the room shifted to find the missing two. "Find them!" Both alphas ordered

With Kai

I shift in my bed and open my eyes a little. My eye sight adjusts a bit and I saw it was dark. Well not totally dark there was a light above me. I then realized I was not in my room and got up, but had trouble when I realized my arms were tied.

I heard crying, a child's crying, and looked around in the dark. I saw a child curled up in the corner. I wanted to crawl over and help the child or ask what was going on, but I heard a voice. Now that I was really getting a good look around I saw I was in the covered back of a pick up truck.

"You think we get a promotion for this?"

"Of course the boss is so gonna make us be in the inner circle after this! We are so moving up!" the guy said.

I roll my head and saw a door. I then looked at the curled up child. He must be so scared. I slowly and carefully got up and crawled over to the kid. He looked at me and opens his mouth but I shook my head so he would not speak. I gestured to his ropes wondering why the kid did not have any on him. He opens his mouth and I saw he bit through them.
