Suspicion

We have a show in Cincinnati Ohio and we're almost there. Finally we get to perform in a town instead of city. I like the city, but to be in the country or at least secluded is bliss to me. I felt like someone was coming. I searched to read the persons mind that I was being drawn to. All I got was a description of her.

She had bright red hair, brown almost black eyes. She had a nice build to her. That's all I could get before I was pushed back out. Was she like us? No. I could feel her warmth. Oh well...at least it's something good this time. I've had rotten luck lately. I dated this girl who was human. She caught me feeding off a rabbit in the back yard and figured out our secret. The council demanded I change her right then and there.
I made her immortal and we got back to our house and she "went to the store" and didn't come back. Stupid humans! They'll use vampires to stay young forever and then just leave. When I drank her blood it tasted awful.

Let me explain.

Not all blood is amazing to vampires. If you are a genuine person your blood will be as sweet as caramel. If not you will taste like what you are or the worst you've done. She tasted like a mixture of slutiness and pot. Another thing about us is that we do sleep and can be wounded. It doesn't go away fast all the time. We are immune to bullets but if we get stabbed it hurts like a bitch. You heard me right. The MIW crew are vampires. Big surprise, right? Ha! I think not.

"You're only bringing yourself down by thinking about what happened you know?" I heard a voice inside my head and it wasn't my own. "Ricky! Get your ass OUT of my mind!" I screamed in my thoughts. We can all read minds when we wish, it's not a very special gift for vamps actually. It comes naturally.

A couple seconds later Ricky comes out holding his head. "You didn't have to scream so loud when you told me to get out. You know that, right?" He said and sat next to me. "I know, sorry man" I said and patted his head. "Who was the red head?" He asked nudging me. He was in there that long? I thought to myself shocked.

"Yes. Yes I was." He chuckled. "Ricky!" I shouted and hit him in the back of the head. "Ouch!" He said. I rolled my eyes at him because I could feel him still in my mind. I sighed. "What are you looking for in there?" I asked. "More info on the red head." He said and kept searching.

I put my mind barriers up. "We'll meet her soon. I can feel it" I said and my phone rang. It was Jayy. (Botdf) he's my blood brother, as in we both have the same creator. He made Dahvie immortal last year, let's just say those red eyes of his aren't contacts. I picked up the phone and pressed answer. I put it to my ear and took down my walls so Ricky could listen in without waking the guys.
Jayy- Chris! I need help!
Chris-What happened?
I heard crying and Jayy told me to look into his sight and I was amazed at what I saw.
