*Jacklene's P.O.V.
After a few minutes of throwing snowballs at each other, I notice Jack isn't anywhere to be found.
"Hey, has anyone seen Jack?" I ask. North is first to speak up. "Probably went off into the forest. He is, after all, the guardian of fun. Always looking for fun, that one."
I think of it's kind of odd he would be gone so long. I fly into the forest in search of Jack. Even if we did meet a few minutes ago, I still feel like I've known him my entire life. We are, in fact, the same in many ways, but... different.
"Jack! Hey Jack! You out there?" No answer. "Jack! Jack, this isn't funny! Come out!" I hear rustling in some trees. I move a little faster. "Jack! Yell if you can hear me! Please!"
Then something lands on my back and pushes me to the ground. But I never make it... "Got ya!" I hear a voice say behind me. "Jack! Don't you ever do that again! I thought you were gone!"
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was, uh, looking for a squirel." He says kind of quiet. "A squirel. Really?"
"Yeah." He looks around me. "Are the guardians around?" I look around too. "Not that I know of. I don't think they followed me."
He sits down on the ground. "Alright. Please, sit next to me." I sit. "So... um... will you tell me about where you came from?" He begins. "I just want to know what it's like."
I think for a moment. "Well, it's like this place except everyone is the opposite gender there. I mean, look at us. We are the same but different genders." He didn't seem suprised at all.
"Oh, well... uh... so there's another Jaime there?" Jaime? "Who's Jaime?" He looks away. He won't make much eye contact. "Nevermind."
Okay... something's wrong with Jack. "Hey are you okay? You seem... nervous." He looks in my direction just not at me. "Yeah, I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?"
"I don't know you just won't make eye contact, you pause a lot, and you barely talk. So would you be able to tell me what's wrong?"
He doesn't say anything for a minute. "Jack? Are you going to talk?" He lays down. "I'm just-ugh it's hard to explain." I lay down on the the snow with him. "I'm listening..."
He sighs. "I really think it's boring. I'll spare you the story." He gets up. "I'll see you back at North's place okay?" I sigh in defeat. "Alright. Make sure you get there safe." He smiles "I will." And without another word he flies off. I'm stuck alone in the forest. I've got to find out what Jack is hiding...
