Rise of the Guardians 2

Jacklene's diversion

*Jacklene's POV

       Ever since I joined Raven again, I've felt much better, well, haven't felt much. I barely have emotion other than happiness and anger. No fear, no sadness, nothing.

       Me, Raven, and Pitch fly over to the lovely city of Burgess. We land on the roof and Raven says to me, "Jackie, we need you to stay here and lure Jack Frost over to you. We need him alive and you'll be the distraction, okay?"

       I smile darkly, "Of course."

       They hide in the shadows, I start making a little chaos, making a few children scared to death, to grab the guardian's attention of course.

       As the children are sleeping, I help make fun things scarier. What you hear at night can effect what kind of dream you have. Since I do not have the power of fear, I simply frost their arm, they jolt awake. Since they don't believe in me, they can't see me.

       I frost a lot of things in their rooms, they eventually get really scared and start to cry. I laugh at each and every one of them. I jump out their windows and fly to the next one.

       After about thirty minutes of chaos, I see two sleds and reindeer flying towards me, Jack Frost, and... A dragon? Two dragons? "Well, this outta be interesting now won't it?" I say darkly.

*Jack's POV

       We fly to where the children were and suddenly I spot Jacklene on a roof. She looks like she's lost, did she leave to be here? "Guys! Jacklene!" I shout over the wind.

       North looks at her, "You are right, Jack." He tugs the sleigh reins so the reindeer go in her direction. I fly ahead of the guardians and walk up to her and hug her, she faces away from me.

       "Where have you been? We have been looking all over for you! You had me worried sick!" I let her go. "Sorry Jack, didn't mean to frighten you. I left to keep you safe." I think back to the note, Needed to leave to keep you safe

       "Keep me safe from what?" I ask. She turns around, "Me," I look at her in horror. She looks just like she did when Pitch and Raven used her. "I'm dangerous, but not as dangerous as them."

       I give her a puzzeled look, "Who?" She motions behind me, Pitch and Raven are behind me, Pitch smiles darkly. "See you later Frost." Then I fall through the roof, ending up in a dark place all too familiar to me.

*Jacklene's POV

       Jack falls through the hole without a scream. "Nice touch with the hole." I say. "Thank you," Pitch is all too happy. "Now, how about we go meet our friend back at my place, hmm?" He suggests. I nod in approval.

       The guardians come to the rescue, Pitch and Raven dissapear into darkness. I slump to the floor acting hurt. "Jacklene! Oh god, are you okay?" My Tooth asks obviously worried. "Ugh, yeah. Just help me up, please." He flies over to me, he starts to lift me up and I just laugh. "What's so funny?"

       "You would help the enemy, who would do that?" He let's go of my arm and sits in front of me. "The enemy? I don't understand..." I just laugh more. I look up at him, "That would be me Tooth." he gasps and flies back to the other guardians. The people with dragons unmount, I realize they are Hiccup and Astrid.

       "What did they do to you?" Asks Astrid. "'What did they did to me?' I did this to myself!" I scream. "I did this to protect you losers, I was a fool!" I yell getting angry. I stand up and grab my staff off the ground. Jack flies toward me slowly, "Don't you dare get any closer!"

       "Hey, take it easy, I know how you can fix this."

       "Does it look like I care? I like how I am! I have no emotions besides for anger and happiness. Both used when I kill you all!"
