Chapter 5: Yah!

I went toward the table and saw bibimbap. The smell is heavenly! My stomach started growling. Did he cook this for me? He even set the table. He's a decent guy. That's what I thought. After 2 spoonfuls. Shit! This is so spicy!! Milk, milk, I need milk. I rummage his refrigerator looking for milk and thank god he has one! I poured the milk carton onto my glass and drank the milk fast. One glass wasn't enough so I poured and drank again with one gulp. Why did he make such a spicy dish early in the mor-... Oh wait, it's already 2 pm.

"Someone's up!"

I looked back and there he was, clapping his hands like I'm a circus animal doing tricks.

"Yah!, Why is this so spicy? I can still feel my tongue burning." I said annoyingly.

He started walking towards the kitchen and took out a spoon in the kitchen drawer. He sat across from me and began eating my food.

"Yah!"

"It's not for you, it's for me." He smiled at me then continued eating.

I laughed. "Oops!"

"By the way, Ruth said to come to the hospital once you are totally fine. She emphasized that you should be sober before going out. She added that Judy is fine and will be coming out sooner than expected." He continued eating the spicy bibimbap without drinking water. Is he human at all? I'm starting to wonder.

"Ruth? How do you know her? Also, why do you know all of this?" I said surprised.

"You slept in my room." He smiled at me. "I tried to wake you but you won't budge so I charged your phone myself. Then I saw a couple of messages from this person named Ruth and called her immediately."

"You called her?!"

"What's the problem?" He looked at me confused.

"Nevermind, what did she say exactly? Was she mad at me?"

He laughed.

"Yah! Answer me!"

"She was shocked at first because a guy answered your phone but I explained everything and she understood."

"Phew! Thank god! Thank you for calling her, she must have been worried. I tend to be forgetful."

He just smiled and began eating again. Boy was he hungry. I watched him eat. Then it hit me.

"Yah! You're Jung Hae In!" "Yah!" I shouted. I covered my mouth in disbelief. That's why he was so familiar. Something in the Rain, One Spring Night and A Piece of your Mind! He starred in those dramas and I watched those many years back.

He stopped eating, brought the utensils from the table inside the dishwasher and took out a water bottle from the refrigerator and drank it. Without looking at me he said, "You should probably go to hospital now. Your phone and bag is in the living room. Please leave." He then went to his room.

I scratched my head in confusion. What was that all about? I said out loud. I followed him into his room. He sat on the side of the bed. He looked sad. I wonder why?

"So what should I call you? Ahjussi? Samchun?" I laughed.

He is still silent and his head down.

I went near him and sat beside him. I looked at him and said, "I'm not a crazy fan, alright? You don't have to worry! I won't post your home address on the internet." I said jokingly. He smiled and chuckled.

"Now there's a smile! Why did you suddenly become serious when I recognised you" You should have been pissed at me for not recognising you sooner." I teased him.

"I am uncomfortable with fame. People will take advantage. It's hard to make genuine friends outside the industry." He sighed.

"Woah! That is deep! For a second there, I thought I was watching one of your dramas." I teased him again.

"Stop it!" He smiled. "For some reason, I am comfortable around you and I'm not usually like this. So when you recognised me, I got sad because -" He still looks away from me.

I held his face with both my hands and moved it so he faces me. There was a generous amount of distance between him and I so don't get judgey. "Yah! I'm comfortable around you too and maybe that's because I watched your dramas and your variety show but my point is, I'm never going to use you. Understand?" I let go of his face.

"Yah!" He said annoyed.

"What? I just said those touching words and you're shouting at me?" I said annoyed.

"Your saliva is on my face! You were speaking too loud. I think I'm deaf!" "Hello, hello!" He said those 2 hellows loud at me.

"Yah! I pushed him and he grabbed me with him.
