Chapter 8: Is he a loner?

I sat and waited for him. What's taking him so long? Is the traffic here bad like in the Philippines? Where is he? I checked my watch and I've been waiting for an hour already. Someone sat beside me. I didn't bother looking at him. All I care about is beating that ahjussi up for being so late.

I stood up and started walking. I need to keep my blood circulating because I don't think I feel my legs anymore. Or, I might be just bored, who knows? I left the hospital and stood at the entrance.

It's still raining but it's not as heavy as before. I just realised that I haven't taken a picture of my trip here so I took out my Canon camera g7x and snapped a picture of the sky. I love the sky. It reminds me that there's more to what's around me. It gives me a new perspective.I checked the photo in the camera and someone's hand photobombed my picture! I laughed. I looked at my surroundings but on one was here but I already had a feeling that he's here and is messing with me. "Yah! You have the nerve to mess with me despite being late? Huh? I said loudly.

I heard laughter a few feet from me.

"Yah!" I ran towards him. I punched him on his right arm and hugged him and said, "Thank you for helping me again. He hug me back. This is the first time he hugged me. I am taken aback because I expected him to freeze like the last time. "Shoot!" I let go from the hug. "I shouldn't be seen with you or your crazy fans will kill me! Where's your car? Why are you looking at me like that. Let's go!" I checked the area for any camera flashes or suspicious people but there's no one. Thank god!

He laughed but still didn't move.

"You know what, let's go inside the hospital and get you checked up, you've been laughing at situations you're not supposed to. There must be something wrong with your brain." I pushed him to go inside

"Okay, okay, Let's go to my car now." I stopped pushing him. "Now that's what I'm talking about!" I'm finally relieved. He really came for me.

We arrived in his car and went in.

"Should I hide in the backseat?" I suggested. I was serious when I said that.

He laughed and asked, "Why?"

"This is Seoul! Paparazzis and crazy fans roams this city! I don't want your career to be over because of me."

"You surely think highly of yourself." He smiled at me.

"Yah! You know it's always a scandal when a famous actor is with a woman. Your crazy fans will get crazier."

He smiles at me again.

"There you go again, in mute mode. You really should get yourself checked, I'm worried. You might not get acting roles if you continue to be like that." I said jokingly.

"I'm fine. I'm just amazed by you."

"Yah, what's wrong with you?"

"I feel comfortable around you, I'm happy around you. You make me smile more often than usual."

"Wait a minute? Is this a line from your upcoming drama, Snowdrop?! Are you accepting the role? Oh my god! I can't wait to see you on screen with Jisoo! She's actually my bias in Blackpink. You almost got me there but I'm a medical student so you can't trick me." I smirked at him.

He laughs. He is still looking at me silently. His expression now is so different from when I said goodbye to him earlier. Does he have no friends? Is he a loner? That might just explain his heartbroken expression when I said goodbye to him at his house.

"You can't just look at me and laugh. You need to say something."

"I was sincere about what I said. You make me laugh." What's wrong with his guy? Why is he talking nonsense? He is really weird! How did we even become friends? That's what I thought.

"How about Snowdrop?!"

"Its a secret."

"Okay, fine!"

"So you need help?"

"Oh right! Why do I keep forgetting important stuff when I'm with you? You are bad vibes, ahjussi!"

"Yah." He sounded annoyed. "Stop calling me that!"

"So what should I call you then?"

He became silent.

"Oppa?"
