Chapter 25

Today, Bakugou was going to the prison to set up a camera in front of (Y/n)'s cell. I wanted to go but I knew they'd recognize me and probably guess what I was gonna try to do.

The only thing I could do was wait for him to call me to make sure the camera was turned on and working and hopefully I can talk to her for a bit. I really hope Bakugou can get through this successfully. Even though I know he will, I can't help but worry. I want her to get out of there. 

Bakugou's pov 

Making sure I had everything for about the 5th time since I left (Y/n)'s, I walked into the large prison. The security checked me and then sent me to the front desk. 

"I'm here to see Maki."

"4th floor to the right" I nodded and walked to the elevators. Making sure I got off on the 4th floor, I took he stairs the rest of the way up and opened the door to the 9th floor. 

"(Y/n)?" I mumbled and walked to the last cell like peppermint told me. Multiple curses flew out of my mouth when I saw the condition she was in and quickly pulled out my phone to call her boyfriend. Her body was covered by a jumpsuit that was pretty much ripped into shreds along with bruises, cuts and more signs of abuse. I didn't want to believe they were doing these things to her after what half n half told me but, now there's no hoping it's not true. It already is true.

"Bakugou?"Her eyes were barley open but I knew she could see me. 

"Yeah, it's me. Don't be loud because I'm not supposed to be here. We're gonna get you out of here okay?" I've never been this nice to someone but, this girl that was pretty much a sister to me was in pain and the last thing she needed was my attitude. 

"Hello?" The half and half boy answered immediately. His voice was the trigger that made (Y/n) struggle and lean against the glass to hear him better.

"I'm setting up the camera. You can talk to her now." The camera was small enough that they wouldn't notice it unless they were looking for it and the quality along with audio was pretty good. It was the best camera I could find without it costing too too much. 

"Sho...S-shoto..." I could hear her voice and see her body more clearly now. She looked like she hasn't eaten in days and sounds like she hasn't had even a drop of water. 

"(Y/n)?! Are you okay? We're gonna come save you soon okay? I'll seen you soon so please hang in there. Just wait a bit longer and you'll be free from that place and those people. " There were cracks in his voice here and there as if he was about to cry. 

"ShoSho I miss you. I want to go home. I can't stay here. I can't!" Her sobs echoed through the small, dark hallway. I felt my eyes fill up with tears and I quickly went back to setting up the camera, blinking them away. 

I sat there, listening to them talk to each other. After a couple minutes of silence, I picked up the phone and asked if the camera was working. 

"Yeah it's working. Everything's good. Thank you" 

"Mhm. Are you guys done talking for now? I think I should go soon before they realize I'm not in the right spot." My eyes looked back and forth from the stairs door to the elevator and back to my phone. 

There was a small silence before he replied, "yeah," and hung up.

"You'll be home soon" I looked at (Y/n) one last time before walking back to the 4th floor and taking the elevator the rest of the way down.
