Wen Ning currently wait for Wei Wuxian in front of Xiao Zhan's ward room but Wei Wuxian is nowhere to be seen. He wait again for an hour but this time is not Wei Wuxian who show up but 17 years old Jin Ling

"Mr Jin" Wen Ning bow his head to show his respect towards the younger

"Uncle Wen, you don't have to be so polite, just call me Jin Ling, I'm really no one" Jin Ling chuckle

"But you are Sir Wei's nephew" Wen Ning mumbles, but loud enough for Jin Ling to heard him

"Don't think of it. My mom might be uncle Wei's older sister and you are uncle Wei's right man, just don't address me with any name! Just Jin Ling!" Jin Ling sighs

"Okay" Wen Ning nods his head, doesn't want to upset the younger boy

"Can I go in? I want to meet uncle Zhan" Jin Ling ask, smiling

"Sure" Wen Ning nods his head

Jin Ling thank the older and silently open the door in case his uncle Zhan is asleep. He doesn't want to wake the older up

"As expected" he mumbles and carefully not to make sound while closing the door

"A-Ling?" Xiao Zhan calls out

"Uncle?! You are not asleep?" Jin Ling startle but then frown

"Did I wake uncle up?" he pouts

"No, actually uncle is not asleep. Only resting" Xiao Zhan chuckle

Jin Ling nods his head and put his school bag on the table. He approach his uncle and plop down on the king size bed, where Xiao Zhan lay on

"Uncle~" Jin Ling whine

"Yes? Why you looks so tired?" Xiao Zhan ask concern

"School is so tiring today! And someone from royal family move to our school today... but he is so humble and kind" Jin Ling smile

"Really? Do you talk to him?" Xiao Zhan ask, smiling

"No.. I was shy... But I think he know me! He always glance at me in class" Jin Ling chuckle

"Everyone knows you kiddo. Your mother is a doctor from royal hospital" Xiao Zhan smile weakly, he is referring to Yanli, his older sister

"I think so? But dad always busy.." Jin Ling pouts

"Where is your dad anyway?"

"In Shanghai.. Outstation" Jin Ling shrugs and lay beside Xiao Zhan

For Jin Ling, Xiao Zhan is the best uncle in the world cause Xiao Zhan always adores him, unlike his uncle Wuxian, he always tease him and uncle Jiang always threatening him to break his leg if he do something stupid. Xiao Zhan just never threatened him or tease him

"A-Ling, why are you here anyway?" Xiao Zhan ask softly

"Mom is busy so I come to visit uncle here" Jin Ling smile
