"Thanks for the ride!" Oliver smiled as he and Zeus got out of the Impala.

"Thanks for the food and letting us stay over" Dean nodded, giving him a bro-hug

"Yeah, really. The only available hotel in the area looked very shabby" Sam agreed, from the driver's seat

"Probably won't see you around in a while huh?"

"You could be surprised, man. I mean, this place is pretty far from anything and everything, but that's what makes it interesting"

"In any case, you know where I live. You're both welcomed whenever."

"We might hold you up to that, you know"

"Good." Oliver smiled "Until next time then"

"Sure man! See yah!" Dean agreed, getting back in the car

Oliver gave them a lazy salute and started walking toward the kennel, hearing Baby's purr get further and further away. He had had quite an exhausting but productive week-end, getting his house in shape. The brothers had been incredibly helpful and as he neared the Danvers' house, Oliver still wondered if paying for food and fulling Baby before they went their way was good enough to thank them.

"Good morning ma'am!" he greeted as he saw he seated on the porch

"Good morning Oliver" she smiled warmly while giving him a playful glare "When will you start calling me Elisa?"

"Someday" he smirked "Maybe"

"Hmmm" she rolled her eyes, preferring to take a sip of her tea instead of answering

"Is there anything else then the usual that you would like me to do?"

"Well..." she thought out loud "If we could get that tree out of the way, it would be good. But we don't have a chainsaw. How about we go rent one this afternoon?"

"Couldn't we just drag it to the side of the forest? Would spare us the trip and you the money"

"It would be great, but no matter how strong you look and most certainly are, I doubt you could move that thing by your lonesome"

"Could I use the tractor?"

"That relic? You certainly can try, but it hasn't moved for ages."

"Thank you ma'am" he nodded, walking toward the barn to serve the dogs their meal

Later that day, as she was finishing their accounting, Elisa heard an engine sprung to life. When she looked up, she saw Oliver climb on the seat of their old tractor with a satisfied smug on his face

"What's he doing?" Kara asked, stepping outside as she mixed eggs in a bowl

"Can you believe that he got that old thing going?" Elisa marvelled, watching as Oliver drove the tractor toward the fallen tree "Oh, Good Lord"

"He still has that smirk of his on, I see" Kara"s eyebrow shot up

"I didn't know he often had it on..." her mother smiled knowingly "Is there other things you noticed that I haven't"

"Well, he seems to have endless stamina, as the dogs all seems thoroughly exhausted after a run with him. He can lift at least three pouches of food at once..." Kara started listing before she realized the trap she had run into headfirst

"Does he now?"

"Yep. That's all." Kara playfully glared at her mother

"I'll give it to you, he's not half-bad"

"You know, I'm substituting for Julie next week," Kara said, eager to change the subject

"Oh?" Elisa said, sending her eyes back on Oliver, who was fixing a chain around the trunk

"It's only a couple days, but..."

"Oh honey, why don't you go back full time? It's been almost a year"

"I know how long it's been Elisa," Kara said, turning her back to her mother and a conversation she really didn't want to have

As she was about to get in, a dog's bark made her turn around swiftly, both women watching as Oliver used the tractor to drag the fallen tree to the forest.

"Do you think that he has an off switch?" Kara sighed

"I hope not" Elisa chuckled as her daughter went back inside
