"Thanks for the ride guys, you saved us two days of travel. And good luck in New Orleans" Oliver said as put his bag on his shoulder

"No problem man" assured Dean from where he was leaning against Baby.

"Call us if you need a ride back. We should be around for a couple of days. We have something to check in New Orleans"

"I'm not sure I should ask but, what will you do there?"

"We've heard about an... Infection problem that we could help with." Dean said dismissively

Oliver got the message that he would not get any other answers and simply nodded. "Well, then have fun"

"You too!"

Once the Winchester had rolled back on the road, Oliver looked down at his canine companion.

Zeus had, over the course of their travel, become his new best friend. The dog was very well behaved and never lashed, which had only convinced Oliver that the beast had belonged to someone before. Someone that had left it with a collar with only its name on it.

But since it had basically attached itself to Oliver, the only real problem had been the distrust it had first shown to the Winchester. When the brothers had stopped by them to offer him a ride, Oliver had only been on the road for three days since leaving the Kent family.

The ride had been in comfortable silence, sometimes filled by some talking about everything and nothing. The former vigilante had understood them not wanting to talk about what they did in life and was grateful to them for not prying on his life either.

A life that had brought him to find a picture of a beautiful woman after a horrible night. And that very same picture had brought him to here, in the small town of Hamden, Louisiana. Now, all he had to do was to find that woman. And thank her.

He turned toward the restaurant where he and the brothers had just shared one last meal together. He took out the picture again and walked toward the building again.

After leaving Zeus by the door with his bag, he entered the place again. He went directly for the bar, where the barman greeted him again. "Back for a beer?"

"I'll take one with pleasure, but I also need information."

"Sure. What is it?" he asked as another man came by his side and gestured "two" with his fingers

"Do you know this woman?" Oliver asked, holding the picture out for the barman to see

The man looked at it as he brought him a glass full of beer. The man chuckled and jerked his head toward the guys beside Oliver

"Hey Winn, the guy wants to know who this girl is"

Oliver turned the picture toward the man, who immediately answered "Kara Danvers. Run the pet motel just outside the town there"

"Do you know her?" asked Oliver as he followed him to the pool table

The so-called Winn chuckled as he gave his friend one of the two beers he had brought from the bar "A girl can't look like that in a town like this and not be known. She used to be married to a buddy of mine."

Oliver nodded and was about to leave when Winn asked "But what is it to you, anyway?"

"Oh, I just own her thanks, that's all"
