for the four boys, especially jisung, the rest of the day went by rather quickly but fun; making fun of felix for staring at changbin in chemistry class and almost getting caught, jeongin falling off a chair in english and jisung getting lost about twenty times whether he was with the others or not. the next day was nearly the same, without any run-ins with minho, just having to sit next to him during history class again, although that would all change tonight. he was moving into his dorm with the elder boy.

school ended and jisung had collected all his bags to take to the dorm, although there were quite a few so his friends suggested to help him. seungmin also suggested that getting there earlier could mean choosing his side of the bedroom and pick where he wants his stuff. and so, the four of them set off to jisung's dorm.

"so this is what the dorms look like... they're pretty nice." jisung admitted, looking around after letting them all in.

"yeah, they're all exactly the same though, there's no difference at all. well, that is unless you customise it with your own stuff. only accessory things though, no replacing furniture." seungmin informed. jisung just nodded his head while still looking around.

"where's the bedroom?" he asked, and jeongin gestured him to follow him, and so he did.

it was a pretty decently sized room with two beds, on opposite sides of the room, a desk on each side, as well as a wardrobe and a bedside table for general storage. there was a bit of floor space in the middle and in front of the room and there was also a big window on the far end of room above the passage between the beds.

"which side do you want?" felix inquired.

"uhh, the right." felix and the others, including jisung, walked to the bed and placed his bags and things down, before jisung plopped himself down too.

"do you want us to help you unpack?" jeongin offered, however the latter shook his head in response.

"no, i'm good. thanks though. you guys can go back to your dorms now if you want."

seungmin nodded and replied. "we'll see you tomorrow then?"

jisung nodded and the others informed him of their dorm numbers. a couple 'good lucks' were said, to which the latter just rolled his eyes and closed the door behind them, only for it to be shoved open again by none other than minho himself, who glared down at the shorter boy that had stumbled back on the impact.

"it'd be nice if you didn't try and close the door in my face."

"i-i didn't try to, i didn't see you in the hall." the elder rolled his eyes and walked towards the bedroom, jisung just watching him go and sighing, knowing he wouldn't be able to win an argument against minho even if he tried- the brunet would probably hit him in some form.

the younger made his way to the bedroom, spotting minho unpacking his things and deciding he should probably do the same. and so he did.

➼➼➼

it was around 10:30pm and jisung had just changed into a comfortable pair of black shorts and an over-sized white sweater, ready to finish off the day and head to bed. he felt the need to have a last minute glass of water so he didn't have to wake up half way through to night from being thirsty, so heading out of the room, he made his way towards the open kitchen.

whilst crossing the main area, the younger noticed minho laying the sofa ( yes, I say sofa, I'm a British bitch | edit: okay and-? why did i feel the need to try and be qUiRkY by putting that there istg ), focused completely on his phone, therefore not even sparing a glance at the boy standing to too far from him- not that he would've anyway. since it was now getting rather late, jisung decided he should be a good roommate and make minho aware of the time, even though the elder boy despised him.

"um, minho?" the older didn't move an inch, let alone acknowledge him in anyway, however jisung hesitantly continued. "it's getting pretty late, i think we should both get to bed 'cause, you know, we need energy in the morning-"

"and i should listen because?"

the younger didn't expect him to speak.

"pardon?"

"and why should i listen to you?" the elder stood up and faced jisung, starting to walk towards him, the younger slowly taking small steps back. "why would i listen to what you tell me to do? are you special? do you hold any power over me?"

"i- n-no but-"

"didn't think so." jisung's back hit the wall behind him as minho stopped in front of him. the brunet leaned down to the younger's face's level, placing his hand in his pockets.

"so, maybe stay out of my fucking business if you don't want to piss me off." minho stood back up to his full height, then walked off to the front door of the dorm, slid on his shoes and coat. his last words before he left were;

"i'm going out." and off he went. jisung, on the other hand, was confused on what just happened. his cheeks had started to heat up from the close proximity the two had shared moments before and he only noticed it now, probably ages after minho noticed it himself and thought he was even weirder.

"no, no, jisung. you absolute twat. stop it, stop it. you are not going to fall for him. no. he's the definition of a callous asshole." the younger shook his head and slapped his forehead lightly before carrying on to the kitchen and then heading to bed.
