"Pheonix I'm telling you there has to be a little bit of truth to this. I mean don't you ever feel like you aren't from this world?"

"Athena just because your name is after a god doesn't mean that gods are even real. Plus that's from Buzzfeed so... If I'm gonna join a fake religion I would go to church with my parents on Sundays." They reached their lockers as Athena kept talking about her new fantasy obsession.

"Listen all dreams stem from some truth so why can't this be true?" Athena looked at him with her watery eyes trying to get him to listen.

"If it was true don't you think these star children would be saving the world from war, death, hate?"

"Well, maybe they have bigger things to deal with that we don't even see because they are saving us from them" They start to walk again but Pheonix puts his headphones in trying to drown out her new manic episode. As he gets into the music she stands dead in front of him prompting him to stop in his track and take his air pod out of his left ear.

"Pheonix just trust me. Please... I can feel it in my gut." Her eyes show the truth. She walks away as the bell rings.

It was the end of the day and Pheonix was walking Athena home when he first heard the ringing in his ears. The first time wasn't bad but five minutes after the first it got louder surprisingly making Athena's voice seem like white noise. Then he heard a voice. It was quiet but grew louder and he finally made out the words they were speaking. "She tells the truth Pleiadian, You need to wake up and come to the abandoned church off of press street." The ringing got to be too much he started to get dizzy. His vision got blurry and a warm liquid flowed from his ears.

"A-Athena... h-help"  He stuttered as he saw her face right before he passed out on the cement.

*This is weird... Where am I... This-this isn't real...*

"PHEONIX WAKE UP YOU DUMB SHIT"

He gasped for any fraction of air in the world and he was shocked to see that he was still in the street where he passed out. "Oh hey, Athena..."

" Did you just say "Oh hey Athena" after you passed out in the middle of the street? What's wrong?! What just happened?!"

A shocked Pheonix got up and ran down the street leaving Athena standing there in the middle of the street. It was almost like he knew where to run because before he knew it he stood in front of the abandoned church. "What the hell," Pheonix thought as his phone rang in the background most likely Athena. He staggered to the door that looked as if it hadn't been touched in centuries. The door creaked open to the barren place of worship.

"H-hello," He said shakingly

The doors slammed shut behind him as six beings encased in a light float down from the ceiling. It was as if they were gods or perhaps angels. They reached the floor in a graceful manner as one of the beings stepped forward as they all changed into what could be their human form.

"Pheonix, we have been expecting you," said the being with long gold hair and beautiful eyes. "I know you must have a lot of questions right about now but we must go somewhere safe before we can answer them. Indigo open the door to our home." A girl in what looks like a grunge blue outfit turns to the stage of the church and starts to move her hands in a weird yet ritualistic motion, this opens a portal to a place the beings called home. Through the portal was the same things you would see on earth but it was still a huge mansion. All though Pheonix was scared he took the hand of the supposed leader and walked through the portal to the home where he would learn about what this world truly was.
