Akuatsu/Welcome back

Atsushi POV

It was far past midnight and Akutagawa hasn't returned yet.The last time I heard from him was 5 hours ago. I started freaking out he was never late and would never take this long to finish a mission.It had only been 2 weeks since we moved in together.We were dating since a month but we weren't officially together yet only Dazai and Chuuya knew.While I was deep in thoughts I suddenly heard the front door open and saw Akutagawa at the door,a bit beat up and bloody.

"I'm home"he said with an exhausted voice before collapsing on the floor.

I picked him up and placed him on the couch,took out the first aid kit and started to treat his wounds one I was finished I waited till he wakes up but I was so tired that after like 5 minutes I feel asleep next to him.

Akutagawa POV

I woke up on a couch.It took me a few seconds to realize that I was home and safe.When I saw that all my wounds were treated,I started looking for Atsushi who most likely treated them till I saw a sleeping Atsushi next to me.He looked so pretty when he was sleeping not like he wasn't always pretty.

It looked uncomfortable how he was sleeping so I got up and picked him up bridal style to place him in his bed.
I was placed his covers over him and started to leave when I felt a tug on my shirt.I looked down to see  a sleepy Atsushi as he said "You're awake"
with a weak smile.I blushed but since it was almost 2am and really dark he didn't notice. I have him a small kiss on the cheek and went to my room.

I started to get really tired and laid down.A few minutes later,I woke up because I felt a sudden weight on top of me.When I opened my eyes I saw Atsushi laying on me falling asleep again.I looked at him startled,this was the first time since we started dating that we would sleep together so I was a bit nervous but I calmed down when I had a look at his precious face. I fell back asleep only a few seconds after him.This was the best feeling ever.

~the next morning ~

Atsushi POV

I woke up and felt something around my waist startled I opened my eyes only to see Akutagawa beautiful face right next to mine.Out of reflex I slightly moved away accidentally waking him up.

He slowly opened his eyes.I was super embarrassed and became as red as a tomato.It took him a minute to realize what was happening and where he was but when he did he immediately moved away a bit.But he didn't take his hand of my hips. It may have been an weird feeling but once I got used to it was  one of the best feelings ever.

So without thinking I just blurred out "I love you". It was the first time I said it since the confession 4 weeks ago. I blushed immediately after I realized what I just said.

I was trying to get up when a hand suddenly pulled me down and I felt a pair of soft lips on mine for a few seconds when I reopened my eyes I saw a blushing Akutagawa who got up right after as he was going out of the room.I remembered something important I forgot to say last night so I just said it now.

"Welcome back home"
