"𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚑𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚐𝚒𝚗𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐"

When Athena opened her eyes she saw that everything was gold and shimmering.

"Hello?" She called out but got no response. 

Athena looked around to see a large gold door. She turned the cold handle to see a throne room six large chairs were placed at the end of the room with 5 bodies sat in them slumped over but on one of them, there was just a rusted crown. When Athena got closer she could see who they were. 

"Mother? Farther?" She called out and ran up to them "Lynx? Leo?" She looked over at the youngest "Lyra?" 

She seemed to be the only one awake. Athena ran over to the little girl her eyes were slowly losing their light. 

"You could have saved us. But you didn't. You didn't answer our calls" Lyra said in a weak voice.

Athena held the girl close to her body "No Lyra I wouldn't do that"

"Earth was more important. You let the darkness take over" She said.

Athena could see a black mass creep closer. She held onto the little girl's body "Please Lyra don't leave me" She begged.

"It's too late Athena. They're here" Lyra whispered.

Athena was surrounded by darkness the only light to be seen was the light her hands were giving off. 

"Where am I?" Athena asked.

"Space" A deep voice responded.

Athena turned around only to see sharp pointy white teeth. The same ones that had haunted her dreams but this time it didn't have a gray featureless face. 

"But the stars. Where are they?" Athena asked.

"What did we tell you Athena Astéri. We are the darkness that everyone fears. We will be back. We will take over the Star Kingdom. And that's what we did but we took over everything no more planets. No more stars"

Athena shook her head "No the Avengers wouldn't let you. I wouldn't let you" 

"You tried but the avengers didn't help you. They found out what you were. They all hate you" 

"No" She muttered.

The darkness got closer "They hated you from the beginning. They never trusted you. You hid away all your secrets. Never offered to let them know. And those that did wished they didn't"

It got closer and closer until it jumped on Athena and took away her light. 

"No!"
