Rhodey was telling Athena, Tony, and Thor, a story "And I'm like boom you looking for this" Athena gave him a small chuckle while Tony and Thor just looked at him he repeated his last line "Boom you looking for... Why do I even talk to you guys? Everywhere else that story kills. Athena seems to be the only one that understands humor"

"That's the whole story?" Thor asked.

Rhodey nodded "Yeah it's a war machine story"

"Oh, it is very good then. It's impressive" Thor gave an obviously fake laugh.

"Quality save. So no Pepper? She's not coming?" Rhodey asked.

Tony shook his head. Maria then walked up to them. "What about Jane? Where are the ladies' gentlemen? And Athena no man yet?" She questioned.

Athena smiled at Maria and shook her head "Oh, you know me. I don't date properly. I just take them one night at a time" She joked.

Maria nodded and looked at Tony for an answer. "Ms. Potts has a company to run," Tony told her.

"Yes, I'm not even sure what country Jane's in. Her work on the Convergence has made her the world's foremost astronomer" Thot said.

Tony turned to Thor "And the company that Pepper runs is the largest tech conglomerate on Earth. It's pretty exciting" Maria, Rhodey, and Athena looked at each other while the two men started to argue about who's girlfriend was better.

"There's even talk of Jane getting a., um, Nobel Prize," Thor said.

Maria nodded "Yeah they must be busy because they would hate missing you guys together" She let out a cough "Testosterone. Excuse me"

Athena laughed "Want a cough, sweet Maria?" She laughed while walking away.

"But Janes better" Thor muttered.

Athena shook her head "You two are intolerable" She walked away from the two of them and found Natasha.

"Well don't you look good in red" Natasha complimented.

Athena laughed "Why thank you, Nat"

She looked over to see Thor walking away from Tony "What were they arguing about?"

"Ladies" Athena responded.

Natasha laughed and looked in a different direction to see Bruce. By the time he got to the bar, Athena was behind it finding something to make a drink with. Natasha started to flirt with Bruce but Athena tuned them out and concentrated on making her drink. By the time she made it Natasha started to leave. "But never say never" Natasha's told, Bruce. Athena took a drink from her cocktail and turned to look at Bruce. When she turned around she saw he was now accompanied by Steve.

"It's nice," Steve told him

"What is?" Bruce asked.

"You and Nat," Athena told him as she took a sip of her drink.

"No, we haven't... that wasn't" Bruce tried to explain as he blushed a bright red.

Steve started to laugh "It's okay. Nobody's breaking any bylaws" He looked over at Athena and gave her a wink. Athena shook her head smiling slightly.

"Nat's just not the most open person in the world. But with you, she seems very relaxed" Athena told him.

Bruce shook his head at her. "No. Natasha, she's just... She likes to flirt"

Athena shook her head at him and passed Steve a beer "I've seen Nat flirt. This ain't that" Banner just scoffed at her while shaking his head.

"Look as maybe the world's leading authority on waiting too long, don't. You both deserve a win" Steve then picked up Athena's drink and walked away.

"Hey! that's mine" Athena called.

He just laughed at her "Come and get it then"
