one by one, tears escaped from his eyes, making him bite his lip. his grip tightened around his body, curling more on himself as he felt the air shift around him. he heard gasps as someone entered the room, but not by the elevator or stairs.

he looked up and his eyes widened, and he choked out a sob. he stumbled off the couch and hugged the man that was so very familiar to himself, he felt the males arms hug him back and sigh against his body.

"Perseus.. what have you done with yourself.." the man muttered, "you haven't contacted me or the others in almost a year... we were starting to worry more than we already have.."

percy tightened his grip, more sobs coming from the young adult, "im so so so sorry dad, i got kidnapped again. and i didn't have any drachmas, so i couldn't IM you guys, i couldn't leave and i didn't run until a couple days ago and then i got kidnapped again by this bunch, and i was too exhausted to MM you, and and and..."

Poseidon pulled percy away by his shoulders, holding them in a gentle grip, "calm down Perseus, breathe." the sea god said. percy nodded and calmed his breathing, his sobs turning into small whimpers. "this has been the fourth time you have been kidnapped in the last four years, the fates have done you no good. but you have to trust that they are doing this for a reason."

"all they bring me is pain, dad. pain. it chases me, i can't escape it anymore, it's in every corner; every shadow. why dad, why is it that all they bring me is pain?" the teal eyed male shook his head at his father, "they took my mother away from me, the one person i cared most for in this shitty world of yours. she was worthy of the gods, she was even more loyal than i am, the most kindest and caring person. And they took her away from me, they took her a-away.." he pounded his fist against his fathers chest before breaking out into sobs again and his knees buckled beneath him and he fell to the ground, he sobbed into his hands.

Poseidon's eyes widened, cursing silently. "I-im.. I'm so so sorry, starfish."

Percy sniffed harshly, wiping away his tears. "You forgot didn't you?" He asked quietly as he slowly stood. Ignoring the group behind him.

"I-" Poseidon started, but was cut off by a broken laugh.

"You, you gods. You all think the world revolves around you and your pitiful ways. Starting wars between your children and your elders. Making them fight to the death because of your stupid ass choices. I'm sick and fucking tired of you gods taking advantage of my loyalty, treating me like I'm just one of your pawns." Perch hissed out, staring sharply into his fathers eyes with a hurricane in his eyes. "I've been abused since I was five- fucking -years old because of you, because of this stupid ass curse you call a gift. You made my mother marry a man that killed her in the end. And I want you to leave, now. Before I do something rash, and hurt someone. I want the gods to leave me the hell alone."

"Percy wait-" The older male started.

Perseus took a deep breath, "leave. Now." He growled, "I'm not going to say it again, father."

Poseidon nodded sharply, disappearing in a mist, leaving the scent of the ocean behind.

Percy took a shakey breath, slumping to the ground, his knees hitting the ground harshly; making him wince at the slight pain.

He ran a shaky hand through his hair,  closing his eyes. "I am sorry you guys had to watch that." He said, "i've had a very hard teenage life... Or just a bad life in general." He said, muttering the last part to himself.

He gave a deep breath before standing and walking back over to Loki. He sat on the couch with his back facing everyone, his legs criss-crossed. He huffed as he let his head fall against the cushion.
