Percy leaned back in his spot, his back hitting the cushion with a soft 'umph'. He stuffed his hands in his hoodie pocket and looked around the room.

"So, where'd pirate man disappear to?" He asked, taking in his surroundings.

Tony snorted, "you mean fury?"

Percy shrugged, raising a brow. "I guess..?" He mumbled.

"Fury will be back.. Right about.." He paused, the sound of the elevator dinging, "now."

"Stark, avengers, Loki, and Perseus." The dark skinned man stated.

They acknowledged him back, Percy giving an unimpressed brow.

"McNick..." Percy mumbled under his breath.

Fury shook his head and clasped his hands behind his back, "perseus, you will need to take a written, physiological, and a physical test before you can join the avengers. You don't have to pass either of the written or physiological test with a score of a 100."

suddenly a flash was heard and a grunt sounded quickly followed after. percy's eyes snapped over to where the flash happened and his eyes widened. he quickly stumbled off of the couch and ran over to the person. 

"lanvera!" he yelled worriedly. 

they looked up at him and smiled weakly, he knelt down in front of them and grabbed their cheeks. "come on, lanvera. stay with me, you have to." 

they gave a couple weak chuckles, grunting as a rush of pain went through their side and they held it tighter. "p-percy... i need help." 

he chuckled lightly, worry sketched on his face as he took in their appearance, "I know, Skye, i know.  just stay awake for me a little longer, your dads' cant lose you now." 

lanvera nodded, turning paler by the second. percy turned and looked straight at Bruce, " i need an infirmary, stat." he then turned to look at thor, "get me some ambrosia and nectar now, i don't care what you need to do to get it. my best friend cant die now, they have to go back home to see their dads'. "

thor nodded before walking out to the balcony and heading towards the empire state building. 

"follow me." Bruce said stiffly as percy stood with lanvera in his arms. He quickly followed Bruce, glancing back at Loki. He sighed as he saw the blank look he was given.

Percy held the non-binary female closer in his arms, gritting his teeth as he felt them shiver. "Don't worry Vera. You'll be better soon." He whispered worryingly.

*time skiples*

Percy was sitting anxiously next to lanvera's bed, waiting for them to wake up. It was the next morning and they still was asleep.

Soon, someone else came into the room, two cups of coffee resting in their hands. "They haven't woken up yet?" The male said, sitting next to Percy.

"I'm worried, they usually wake up by now." He said, looking towards Bucky. He took the other cup of coffee, the cup color a Navy blue.

Bucky sighed; he had his dark brown hair in a low bun, some strays framing his face and his bangs hanging. His dark blue eyes clouded in exhaustion, light bags under them. "im sure they'll be fine.." he paused, taking a drink of his black coffee; "they're just getting rest." he said, giving a small smile. percy nodded, "i guess you're right, it's just.." he cut himself off with a tired sigh, "lanvera has been there more than anyone, they have been my only true friend for a very long time. i just want them to get better."

"and they will." bucky's gruff voice answered back, "you just have to be patient perseus, and let the healing do it's job." bucky patted percy's shoulder, "now, come on; you look like you need food."
