Chapter 2: The Unexpected

Sorry I didn't post in sooo long I lost interest in duke for a bit I love him again now 😽✌️|

6 days later.. you decide to make a fan account on Instagram for duke. You are busy making edits and you posted about 3 of them and each of them get around 30 likes which is what you expected from them. You then start scrolling through tiktok cause you got bored then you notice how your notifications blow up on for your duke fan account. You go on dukes story and see he reposted the edit you made for him on his story with the caption of "Wow this is amazing! ❤️" You think to yourself: am I dreaming wait what he did not just repost my editttt but he did. You can't believe you've gotten noticed by Duke! You jump out of excitement and tell both of your friends the news.

*THE NEXT DAY*
You have all your stuff that you'll need packed for the new house in Utah your going to live in. You are scared about how life will be over there. Will you have a fun time over there and find lots of friends? Will you find the love of your life? You then hear your mom say "y/n!! Are you ready we need to go to the airport!" You snap out of it and get your suitcase and go. *at the airport*

you just got to the airport and you've never been to one in your life and your amazed on how huge the airport is.  In fact, you've never been on a plane before this is crazy. As you wait for the flight to start you, mom, and dad find chairs to sit on while you wait. You go on tiktok for the wait, then you hear the airport security say "Flight to Salt Lake City Utah will start boarding passengers in 5 minutes" you start ✨𝒾𝓃𝓉ℯ𝓇𝓃𝒶𝓁𝓁𝓎 𝓈𝒸𝓇ℯ𝒶𝓂𝒾𝓃ℊ✨

5 minutes later, you get on the plane with your parents and your plane ticket says you sit by a window seat alone with nobody near you so you have your peace now. * some boring 5 hours later * you arrive to Utah!  You leave the airport with your parents and drive to the new house. You were so excited about this the plane ride wasn't bad at all it was cool. *skip to the new house* you get to the house and are amazed about how new and expensive it looked. You say to yourself " woah! This is way better than the old house." You get out of the car and you and your parents get the suitcases out the trunk and bring them to the living room.

You finished bringing the bags inside so you start to explore the house and got to your room. Your parents then decided to go out for a walk for 15 minutes. You wanted to explore the backyard and you saw a huge pool. You parents never said there would be a pool in the backyard so it was a suprise. You then started heading to the front door and you hear someone yell "Hi! Are you new to this neighborhood?!" You heard it come from next door so you quickly turn around to see a guy with brown hair wearing a grey hoodie with dark blue jeans down in the front yard of the house next door.

Y/n: "Yes I am! I was just about to put the stuff in some suitcases in my room!" ??: "Want me to help!?" Y:n: "Sure!" The guy ran to you and you think to yourself "wow he looks oddly like duke- what it can't be" and many other thoughts went into your head and he says "hello? Are you ok" so you snap out of it and say "Oh yes I was spacing out my apologies 😅" ??: "It's all good but may I ask, what's your name?" Your cheeks go red and your eyes go big like this 😳 cause you were sure enough that it was indeed duke. ??: "you look like a tomato rn" he jokingly smirked. y/n: " My names y/n but I can guess your name" ??: "What is it then y/n?" Y/n: " I betcha it's duke"

Duke: wha- what? How'd you know?" Y/n: "I have my ways" you say with a smirk. Duke: "please say you don't know my tiktok account-" y/n: "what tiktok account?" Duke: "Oop- nevermind" y/n: "nah I'm just playing I follow you on your Willy Wonka account and your Duke account". His cheeks go red and he says "how long have you been following me for?" Y/n: "6 months actually and I just realized who you were and I was in shock, I have a whole fan page for you that I made just last night and you reposted my edit on your Instagram story " * his eyes go wide out of shock* Duke: " OMG this is crazy you are such a talented editer I can tell cause I watched all 3 of your edits but anyways, why were we here again" y/n: " oh yeah to help put some stuff in my suitcase in my room"
