𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱,but she couldn't care less eitherway.Her blank e/c lazily stared at him with a scowl on her face,she paused her game before muttering.
"Make sure you have something worth my attention next time."
Tonpa left without another word,leaving the girl at peace.Her fingers tapped the buttons at a her original pace.This continued for a few hours until a white haired kid skated towards her.
"Woah,you have a nintendo switch?"
Y/N only nodded in response,her focus wasn't on the boy at all.This made the small boy irrirated,he grew a tick mark on his face.
"OI OLD HAG!PAY ATTENTION TO SOMEONE WHEN THEY'RE TALKING TO YOU..!"
This brought stares from everyone,their confused gaze on the two.Her complexion darkend from anger.The grip on her console tightend.She stood up,making everyone suprised.Y/N snatched the collar of the white haired boy's shirt.
"I'M NOT AN OLD HAG!I'M ONLY 19 YOU BRAT!"
'so she's legal~?'
"HUHHH??SO YOU'RE NOT 50?!"
What killua said angered the young adult more,she clenched her fist and bonked the boy.Killua winced in pain,gritting his teeth,he hurled insults at her.This was shortly brokened up when more people began to stare.
"WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT?"
Everyone shuffled back to what they originally were doing.Y/n huffed,"Are you gonna tell me your name or what?"Killua crossed his arms,forming his lips into a pout.
"Killua Zolydck."
"Y/N L/N"
"EHHHHH!MY BROTHER KEEPS TALKING ABOUT YOU!"
"what?"
"He says you're the only person that can beat him!"
"And who is that..?"
"I think his username was mi11uki"
"I'm sorry..I don't remember players that aren't worth it."
Killua bursted into giggled,wiping his crocodile tears before pointing to the girl."Pff..y-you..BHAHHAH!"Y/N only tilted her head in confusion.
As time flew,Y/N borrowed him an extra console to play games on.He promised to return it so she didn't mind.She was still cooped up in the corner of the room.
A group of three caught her attention,there was a short green haired boy,a blond haired boy that looked prettier than any girl she met and an old man.
She saw the weird old man giving them drinks,apparently from all those rumors she learnt that the old man was a rookie crusher.Slight worry engulfed her but she was relieved to see them spit it out.Wait a minute...seeing Killua down the can,she walked over and pulled on his shoulder harshly.
"Oi you brat!Don't you know that's poisoned?"
His blue eyes lazily darted to the yelling girl,his pale hands tucked in his pockets.
"Of course I know,I'm immune to poison afterall."
And with that,he walked off.Y/N gazed at where he once was in disbelief.'What kind of kid would be immune to poison!?'
"Hello Miss!What's your name?My name is Gon,these are my friends Leorio and Kurapika."
The shorter boy held out his hand for the older girl to shake.A light chuckle was heard from her,this boy pratically radiated sunshine.It reminded her of her teammates.Is this why she feels like theres a need to protect him..?
She nodded,grasping his smaller calloused hand in hers.Her e/c irises slided to the other two figures that are taller than Gon.She took her hand out of his grasp before doing a small wave to the groul of three.
"Yo,my names Y/N."
The blonde hair boy who she supposedly thought was Kurapika gave a slight nod,signalling he acknowledged your existance.The old looking man flashed a goofy grin in her direction.'Shit...they remind me of them so much...'
A purple haired man came in the crowdef basement,holding a supposedly key or machine in his slim fingers.He looked as if he had no mouth hiding under his mustache.It slightly weirded Y/N out but she saw worse.
"I apologize for the wait.I'm Satoz,your examiner for this phase,I'll be guiding you to the second phase."
a/n:i kinda forgot what they said but heres what i remembered.
"The hunter exam will have all sorts of risk,some including fatal injuries and possibly death.If any of you want to step out,now is your chance."
Silence filled the room,it seems that no one wants to quit.Of course,they all had their own goals.Including Gon,Leorio,Kurapika and Y/N.This embarks their new journey to become a hunter.
"Alright,you can all follow me."
Chatters of the participants were heard."Whats the first phase?" was the majority of the questions people asked.Their questions stopped as soon as Satoz slowly walked forward,the others following his pace.His movements became unnatural,as his pace quickened,a lot more participants were confused.
As time passed,more and more people dropped like flies.Y/N was huffing and puffing,her stamina wasn't the best since she was a shut-in.It seems she missed the chance to talk to the group she just met.But she overheard something about Kurta Clan,The Phantom Troupe,having enough money to pay for a treatment and such.
Although she had a determind mindset,her physcial status was saying something else.Her legs ached and her vision started getting blurry,there was also several beads of sweat sticking onto her skin.'Shit...I can't drop out this quickly,I..have to become a hunter no matter what!'
Killua noticed this,he pouted and shoved the skateboard in her arms."Tch...you old hag,this is for the game just now.."Her e/c eyes glimmered in hope."Thanks Killua!It looks like you aren't that much of a brat afterall!"She ruffled his white fluffy hair before catching up with the others on the skateboard.
"Gon!Let's race to the top shall we?"
"Mhm!"
Y/N chuckled,the nostalgia of being a kid that didn't care about anything hit her hard.She skated to Kurapika and Leorio,wanting to start a conversation with the two.
"Hey,you two are Gon's friends right?"
"Yup."
The pair had an in-sync reply.
"What are your reasons for becoming a hunter?"
She knew a few key-words but she wanted to know the truth.
Kurapika started.
"I want to avenge my clan."
Then Leorio followed up.
"I want to make money."
Y/n hummed in aprovement.
"What about you?"
Her place slowed down,flashing a sad smile at the pair.
"I want to be a crime hunter to avenge my friends."
Kurapika had a suprised expression on his face,it held slight pity as well.He didn't know that there was a lot of people like him aswell.Leorio had a sad look of guilt.
"Sorry for asking."
"It's Fine."
"Leorio,Y/N the end of the tunnel is near.Shall we fasten our pace?"
Kurapika stated,trying to cut the tension between the three of them.
"Of course!"
The older man and the tired looking girl yelled out.
