Phase I: Metamorphoses
She was in the back of the Ranger Rover, helplessly restrained and silenced. Tonight, one of two things would happen.
One: Dimitria would forcefully embrace her life and be an extensive part of our cause that would only go deeper, as we pressed on.
Or two: She would die, and her life would further fuel the fire of my plan.
My Phase I.
It had taken me a great deal to gather all the girls in place, during my life, since each one had arrived at different points during this great undertaking.
And, it all started with Kaitlyn, back in London during that fateful time. I thought I had prevented destiny to come, yet I had been so wrong.
For one reason or another, she had survived, and even worse... she had been in training since she could pick up a weapon. All that time split between training, and understanding, of what she would become.
Yet even after I had instructed Erik to break her time and time again, she found the resolve to keep fighting. To keep pushing—and honestly, I was sick of it.
I was sick of her life. The life she would have, and sick of what she would become. I despised them with every fiber of my being, and I was glad I could finally put my plan in motion. My plan to eradicate the sacred Valkyries from the Cosmos, which in turn would allow me and Freya to run the table virtually unopposed.
We would have Asgard on their knees begging for mercy as their world was burning to the ground from our assault. However, before we could attack Asgard, this was more pressing.
We had to force them, and their hand.
Force the hand of the Valkyries away from the world. Force them out so there would be no power to bring souls into the war.
Dimitria groaned indignantly behind the tape plastered to her lips, as she tried to break free of the restraints that held her tightly in place.
I attempted to pull over, however Julian had reached over and told her to stop it, even pointing the fun in her terrified face.
"Best stay quiet," Julian told her, as she smiled like the sadist she was. I watched from the rearview mirror, making sure she understood her place. "Even though you're the famed daughter of Freya, a daughter of the Queen of Darkness herself, you will learn." I watched as she jabbed Dimitria harshly in her side. "Do what your told and stay quiet."
I could only smile as Dimitra would obey; she had no choice.
Her life was explicitly tied to Kaitlyn; and while not voluntary, I knew that Kaitlyn deeply cared for her—like lovers often do. I knew that if she died tonight from failing in her metamorphoses, then Kaitlyn would also fall in place, and sacrifice herself.
It was in her nature—she protected those who she deeply loved and cared for. But it also that same kind of love and devotion, that would be her downfall.
I made sure of that, when I had sent the hospital under, that claimed the lives of Alissa and Kaitlyn.
Yet, something was jarring at me.
How long had Dimitria been lying about her love to Olivia? How long had she been dating someone behind my back, without me knowing? Either way, it mattered little. One way or another she would meet her fate.
