Chapter 21

"Yuta do something!" Jungkook growled at the younger alpha. Yuta looked around frantically pulling at his hair with his right hand, and his left covered in blood.

"I can't...I don't know...what to do..." The young alpha could feel the tears building in his eyes as he looked around.

Jaehyun watched his son pace around while mumbling things to himself. Jungkook's demands were becoming louder and more aggressive with each minute. It was only when Jungkook used his alpha voice did Jaehyun step in.

"Enough! Give him a moment to think father!" Jaehyun wrapped an arm around Yuta and softly stroked his hair, helping the boy calm down.

"It's okay. You're doing great. What do you need us to do?" Yuta pulled away with a shaky breath and wiped his eyes before walking over to the unconscious omega.

"Lucas...we have to get the baby out..."

Jimin walked slowly back to the pack grounds. His aching back and feet slowing him down. He could hear the faint giggles of his son and the alpha behind him as the three made their way toward the pack house.

Jimin stopped when he saw the door of Haechan and Lucas's home wide open and the scent of blood was strong. Jimin walked as fast as he could into the home, with a now quiet and terrified Jihoon trailing after him.

Yuta was covered in blood up to his elbows as he had the baby in his arms, quickly handing him over to the alpha father. Jimin could see the pure love and affection in Lucas's eyes as he held the pup.

Lucas looked toward the door, and then back at his pup. "Jimin why isn't he crying?" The omega quickly made his way to the two and checked for a pulse among a few other things.

"May I?" He asked as the alpha reluctantly handed over his pup.

Yuta was exhausted as he watched Jimin check over the baby. He was still shaken up from the experience but glanced down at his uncle to make sure he was okay. Only then did he notice that his chest had stopped heaving up and down.

Yuta pressed his fingers to the omega's throat praying for a pulse, and felt his heart sink as there was no indication.

"No...god no...Please!" Yuta screamed as he started chest compressions. His sobs brought everyone back to reality. Lucas's eyes snapped toward the two as he saw Yuta hovering over his mate, desperately trying to restart his heart.

Lucas's eyes turned a deep red and loud growl was heard. With two steps he pulled the younger off his mate and threw him to the floor.

"What did you do?" Lucas lunged for the boy, but was held back by Jungkook and Jaehyun. Jimin shoved the baby into Taeyong's arms as he helped Yuta up.

"Yuta you did amazing. I'm so proud of you. Keep doing what you just were. I need to stitch him up. He's losing too much blood. We can do this okay?" Yuta muffled his sobs but nodded his head.

Jimin turned towards Hacehan and began to stitch the poor boy, praying it would help. "Taeyong, talk to your son. He needs you right now."

The other omega in the room could feel the stress and tension coming off his son. He could hear the exhaustion and pain as Yuta desperately tried to keep Haechan alive. He wished he could do something. He wanted to be useful. He hated that so much of this was on his son and not himself.

"Hey baby you're doing great. Everything will be okay. Channie will be up and with us in no time. You didn't do anything wrong." Taeying spoke gently, easing everyone's nerves.

Yuta stopped his actions for a moment as Jimin had finished. The three remaining in the house waited for a sign that Haechan's heart had started to beat on it's own. There was nothing but silence.
