Chapter 5: The Penthouse

You were confused at first but at the same time, you couldn't believe it. You were sitting on the couch basically still sweating after the nightmare that just happened. You left it out as if it was just a normal thing. You went to call Seb about the job but he didn't answer. You sent him a message just to make sure if this was true.
After sending the message you just sat down waiting for a call or a message. You were just staring at the wall as if you were meditating. After a few minutes, he messages back. You took your phone as you saw the message.
" well, we were wondering if we could need a graphic designer. "

" don't you guys have a graphic designer back in your studio?" You said with a confused tone.

" you know since you aren't busy today let's meet up in the penthouse so we could discuss this in person," Seb asked.

Y/n looks at his study desk to see a number of assignments waiting to be passed tomorrow.

" sure," you replied.

" all right I'll send the car there to pick you up so you won't need t-" you stopped him as you said in a happy tone.

" oh don't worry I'll just walk my way there!" As if y/n could make it there less than an hour.

Seb sent you the address of the penthouse. You ready yourself with a pair of shoes, jean pants with a white sweater while wearing your favourite coat since it's cold whenever it's midnight. You glanced at your watch to see the time at 9 pm. You nodded as you went outside of your apartment closing the door behind you. You were outside of the apartment you reached to the guard post as to see the guard letting you out.

" be careful out there, since it's midnight, there's always strangers that take persons like you. " the guard said with a worried tone.

You were at a height of 5'3, yes you were a small one but that doesn't mean strangers might want to kidnap people like you.

" don't worry ill be careful."
You said with a smile on your face as you head out.

I began my walk without even commuting since I'm always a walkie person.
You looked at your surroundings as it was quiet. There were some cars passing while you were walking on the sidewalk. You were walking with both of your hands on your pockets.
The whole walk was quiet it feels lonely. You laugh to yourself.

It feels like it's taking too long you thought to your self as if you were lost in the middle of the street. Then came your mind that you are able to teleport. You inhale and exhale as you concentrated if you still have control of it. You were picturing the penthouse.
You opened your eyes as you manage to teleport to the penthouse. The only thing that makes you worried is that you noticed you can't feel anything below ground. You look down to see your self-flying as you were now falling. You fell on the ground hitting your back. You hold your back as you winch in pain. You tried to stand up but your back still hurts as you were still in pain after that landing. You look to see yourself lying down on a tile like a dead person.

" guess that was too risky to use." You said as you scratch your back head."

You were able to stand up as you were still wincing in pain. You heard a bone crack as you stretch, as it always happens to you every time you use this ability. You were at the front door of the penthouse. You sent a message to Seb, just before you were able to send the message to Seb you heard the doorknob was switching. You closed your phone as you could see the person who was opening the door.
