Unfamiliar Territory

The time had come
I thought as I heard the announcement for people in B on the flight
221 to London (<hope you got this)

I looked at my family
Liam hugged me " thanks... for everything" he said

" I'll miss you make sure to frame the picture of me" Charlie said

" have fun and don't forget I'm your favourite brother" Aidan said

" you'll do great darling" Angie said my father hadn't bothered to show up but it's ok azy came

I hugged her
" don't forget me when your a hot shot doctor" she said

" bye guys" I basically had to force my feet to move I handed the lady my ticket and took my seat.

I took Alfred out luckily I had the window seat, he loves looking out at the clouds I waited for the plain to start I didn't need to hear what the safety stuff were because I already knew them.

Sitting back as the plane started I felt my stomach turn
London here I come.

The plane landed and people started to get up, I grabbed my carry-on bag and headed off the plane.

Picking up my other bag I left the airport it was raining of course it was raining, I called a cap and told them the address of my university.
It was a slow ride
So I just watched the slow rain drops on the window.

I remember what the email said I was supposed to do when I got there
Go to the office and get my timetable and dorm.
Simple enough so when the cab pulled up outside the huge school I payed and slowly made my way to the main office.

It was wet and cold so I picked up my pace and entered the office the lady at the front desk told me to go right in so hesitantly I entered and was met with a man with brown hair
He seemed as if he was maybe mid 30s.

" ahhh hello hello, the first 12 year old ever to be at my school" he said jumping up and shacking my hand
" welcome to LGHU
Loki groot hulk.... uh U....U never mind
It stands for London general health university"

Geez he was..... just something

" right you probably want to unpack you had a long flight
Ok so here's your map, this right here is your dorm and this is your dorm key
Here's your timetable and I guess I'll see you later" he said giving me everything on top of my suitcase's

I left and somehow managed to get lost
I mean I was only a twelve year old in a GIANT UNIVERSITY

I found my dorm and immediately tumbled in, I was wet and cold because I thought for some reason it was easier to locate in the fog
It wasn't.

I looked around it was pretty simple
A bed, a desk, a small tv hanging on the wall, a dresser and a door leading to the bathroom
It was small but hey I wasn't complaining it was fine to me.

Closing the door behind me I took off my coat and wrapped a towel around myself turning on the hot water to fill up the bath.
I took a couple things out such as toiletries and a change of clothes and blanket.
After I fixed up the bed and put Alfred on it I got into the bath and stayed there for a while just keeping warm.

Before I eventually got out and put on my pjs quickly crawling into bed I turned on the tv and signed into my Netflix account.

The room was also cold so I just snuggled against the blanket, My phone said it was 9:01 pm in London so it was only 2:01 back home.

I grabbed my laptop and after grabbing a granola bar from my bag tackled my brothers .

" hey guys" I said smiling

" hey woah why is it so dark there?" Charlie asked squinting at the screen

" dude time change it's around 8 or 9 there" Aidan said rolling his eyes
I laughed

"Why are you still awake?" Liam yelled

" yeah go to bed and call us when you wake up" Charlie said

" good night " they all sang into the screen before hanging up

I smiled and looked up to the tv, grabbing Alfred I threw the granola bar and attempting to throw it into the trash.
It probably didn't but I'd deal with it tomorrow when I unpack.

Turning over I left the tv on in the back ground of the dark and cold unfamiliar room.
I took a deep breath it smelt.......unfamiliar.
I sighed and closed my eyes welcoming the sleep
