*Chapter 13: Family Vacation: Part Two.

The morning of Dani's uncle's birthday party she was up by 7am from the sounds of talking and movements of everyone as they started preparing food and setting up the backyard. She grumbles, rolling over in the bed and hides her face in her pillow. She definitely did not want to be up this early but with so much noise she couldn't sleep. She looked over at Tony who was still out cold in the other bed.

Dani rolled her eyes, utterly annoyed. "How can that boy sleep through anything?" She mutters to herself and gets out of bed, slipping her pj pants back on, grabbing her toothbrush and toothpaste to go brush her teeth. When one of her cousins steps out to grab something from their room she immediately slips in and shuts the door, locking it. So she can pee and brush her teeth.

"Hey! I was about to shower!" Brianna pounds on the door.

"Too bad. I need to pee. Give me like five minutes." Dani calls back through the door, sighing contentedly once she's relived herself.

"Five minutes! Hurry up." Brianna groans then heads over to the room Dani has been sharing for the past few days with Tony her friend she brought along for the trip. Bri had just arrived last night so she hadn't had a chance to meet him yet. Besides a quick introduction and learning his name. It was nearly one in the morning when she arrived with her daughter Amina and husband Desmond. Tony was just downstairs, getting a bottle of water when she had walked in, she had stopped in her tracks and asked him who he was and that's when he introduced himself as Dani's friend from LA.

Brianna leans against the door and watches him sleep for a bit curiously, folding her towel over her arm. She tilts her head, looking him over a bit when he turns in his sleep and the blanket falls down just above his hips noticing he sleeps shirtless even at someone's house he doesn't even know.

"Hmm.. he's gotten very comfortable here.." She says more to herself then anyone else.

Dani comes up behind her and pinches her side. "What are you doing?!" She says quickly, trying to scare her.

Bri jumps and spins around. "Getting the life scared out of me!" She glares and smacks Dani's arm. "Your friend is cute. I met him when I got in last night. You guys are in the same room I see."

"There are two beds." Dani nods. "Besides. We're just friends." She nods. "Bathrooms free. Get it while you can." She nods and walks in the room. "Bye." She waves then shuts the door, going to her bags, digging through her stuff then looks over to make sure Tony is still out then she changes into a pair of her leggings with pockets, putting her phone in a pocket then heads downstairs to see what she can help with.

"You're up early miss thing." Her aunt Golda teases her.

"Well everyone is making sooooo much noise. I figured why not come help out." She nods, hugging her aunt. "What are we doing?" She asks.

"Well. Right now we're just seasoning meats, cleaning and preparing everything. But Sam wants to make some Haitian patties." Golda nods.

"Ooh patties." Dani's face lights up. "I'll help." She grins and nods.

"Good. Cause she insists on making them from scratch. Is your friend still sleeping." Golda asks.

"Yeah. He's out cold." Dani nods. "Where's auntie Sam at?" She asks, looking around the kitchen.

"Dining room, setting up the fruit tier and a few others. Go help her." Golda nods. "Big booty Judy." She teases, smacking Dani's butt.

"Hey! It's not that big. Not anymore." She pouts and covers her butt, going to the dining room to find Sam.
"How can I help, auntie." Dani walks over to Sam, watching her fill a tray with fruits.
