*Chapter 17: Family Trip: Part Six.

Tony woke up first this time with Dani snuggled in against his chest. He vaguely remembered her waking him with a kiss in the middle of the night. He vaguely remembers bits and pieces of their conversation last night but now he could still taste the mint of her lip gloss on his lips. He looks down at her, watching her sleep. His fingers brushing along her cheek gently.

Her pink curls were tossed all over the place. Her face burrowed in against her arms. The scarf she had on lays somewhere discarded under the blankets. Her body was snugged in as close to him as she could get.

He cups her cheek, sliding his hand into her curls then brushes his thumb along her lips lightly.

She stirs in her sleep, turning her head more to the side. She wrinkles her nose then turns over onto her other side and nuzzles against her pillow. She hides her head under the pillows.
"Too early.." She mumbles.

"Well you woke me in the middle of my sleep last night." He twirls one of her curls around his finger.

"So?" She mumbles and pulls the blanket up over her head, hiding.

"And you said something." He nods.
"You said a lot of things actually.." He trails off.

She peaks out at him.
"You remember what I said?" She asks curiously.

"No. I need a refresher. I was very out of it." He nods.
"Could you remind me and say it again?" He asks and nods, pulling the blanket back a bit and pokes her dimple.

"Mmm.." She scrunches her nose and bites his finger.
"I said I love you." She looks up at him.
"Like.. love you love you." She whispers, looking at him.

"Mm.. i think there was so much more. But. I love you love you too." He smiles and cups her cheek then leans down and kisses her gently.
"We're going at this all backwards. But. I want you to be my girlfriend." He nods and brushes his thumb over her cheek.

She scrunches her nose at him, kissing him back slowly. "Ew. What's that?" She teases and sits up, moving over to sit across his lap, straddling him. She cups his cheeks, brushing her thumbs over his cheeks then slides her fingers up, threading them through his curls.

"That is everything we're doing right now. But you're officially mine and I'm officially yours. And I get to get you boyfriend gifts and call you my cute girlfriend." He nods and slides his hands up under shirt, rubbing her back.

"Ew. That sounds so gross." She jokes and kisses over his dimples.

"Excuse me? What?" He tilts his head then starts tickling her.

She squeaks and squirms, reaching for his wrists and starts laughing. She laughs and squirms, rolling off him and crawls away.

He chuckles, grabbing her by the ankles and shifts up, dragging her back and leans over her, tickling her and slides his hands under her shirt. He slides up and around her back.

She laughs and squeaks then pulls him down, pulling him down by his shirt and kisses him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Yes." She whispers and grins.
"Yes. Yes. A thousand times yes." She grins.
"I'd love to be your boyfriend." She teases.

He chuckles against her lips and grins.
"I'd love to be your girlfriend." He teases back.

"I've never had one of these. What are the rules?" She teases and pulls back a bit, looking up at him and cups his cheek, brushing her thumbs over his lips.

"Mm.. we make them up as we go." He nods, rubbing her arms and shifts to lay down against her, laying completely against her.

She smiles up at him and cups his cheeks gently, brushing her thumbs over his lips.
"I am in love with you. Antonio Levi Lopez." She whispers, looking him in the eyes.
