Stumbling out of the party, I giggle to myself as I fall against the pillar next to the steps before looking out at the dark sky, breathing in the fresh air.

I always thought college would be a fun experience, that it would be the time I could show off my drinking skills, my ability to show up anyone and everyone with my flirting skills. How wrong I was.

No-one here has liked me from the moment I stepped foot on Nevada territory. Apparently they weren't ready for Becky Gordon.

The girls stare at me like I'm a sexually transmitted disease on legs, the boys see me as a conquest and we all know I usually let them have their way. Not for their sake, it's for mine, but they don't know that.

Each party I come to I try to find an unsuspecting girl to make friends with, exactly how I forced my way into Savannah and Zara's hearts. So far though, it hasn't worked, everyone already settled in their groups.

I'm a popular girl, hundreds of Instagram likes amassing on every single photo I put on, but it's all fake, the majority of people from high school liking it even though I'll never see them again. I have plenty of random men following me, commenting on numerous ones about how they've finally found an Angelina Jolie look-alike their age. Whatever... I'll take it. She's hot.

This party was no different so instead I joined in with the drinking games on my own, none of the boys turning down the option of watching a mini skirt clad girl downing drinks in front of them on her own.

My phone suddenly vibrates and I dig it out from my bra, smiling at the name of the screen before raising it to my ear.

"Didn't I tell you I'd be out tonight?" I giggle.

"You did," Ellis replies, "but I thought I'd check in considering how they normally treat you."

"I played beer pong."

"Did you?"

"I nearly won! There were only two cups left on their side but they managed to get the ball in mine before I could manage it!" I babble.

"You played on your own?"

"I'm not a weirdo! I played against two boys!"

"I meant you were the only one on your team?" He chuckles.

"Oh! Yeah."

"How drunk are you right now?"

"I'm fucking slaughtered." I laugh, pushing away from the pillar and stumbling down the steps.

"Do you need to find someone to take you home?" Ellis asks, the question making me raise my eyebrows in surprise.

"No. I can handle my alcohol."

"It's okay to-"

"Ellis Wakefield! Have a little faith in me," I exclaim.

"You know I do."

"I don't know shit." I scoff.

"Wow, you're really fun to talk to when you're drunk."

"You've spoken to me before! I was drunk last Monday."

"You were," he admits. "But not this drunk."

"I'm fine."

"Where are you?"

"In the middle of the road."

"Fantastic," he huffs out under his breath.

"Ah, Ellis, am I a pain in your ass?" I tease and he sighs.
