Two and a half weeks pass uneventfully, Sav being discharged from the hospital, deciding to make amends with various people. She heads back to Edgewater Valley and I become her cab driver, wanting nothing more than for my best friend to be able to heal.

I finish both dresses for Alice's friends. Each one of them love their dress, both boasting about how theirs is better than the other. Why I ever decided to meet with the two of them at the same time is beyond me.

Ellis dives back into his day job, heading to visit Brett a couple of times a week. Our best friends will never admit it but they're struggling. I mean, who wouldn't? A family member tries to kill you, go figure.

The two of us make time for one another though, every evening ending in an enjoyable escapade, last night concluding against the front door. There's still so much to try, so many places left unscathed. Ellis and I battle for dominance each time, the apartment a crazy mess by the end of it.

Grinning to myself, I shut the apartment door behind me as I step into the corridor, shoving my keys into my bag and carrying on my way.

I'm down and walking along the street in no time, feet silent against the sidewalk, having opted for flats instead of heels for the first time in as long as I can remember. With the exception of gym days, of course.

I'm tired, pretty exhausted from last night's adventures with Ellis and I slide my shades up my nose to hide from the bright sunlight. Savannah called this impromptu gathering only yesterday morning, telling me that Zara is in town so it's vital to meet up.

Excitement took over instantly at the mention of Zara, our little red-haired genius stopping by only once every few months.

It takes me only fifteen minutes to get to the restaurant Savannah picked and I grab the door handle, tugging it open and stepping inside the modern, airy room. A quick glance around confirms that no-one else is here yet and I step up to the bar, grinning at the bartender.

"I'll have your strongest cocktail," I order. "Thank you." She nods, turning away and grabbing hold of the liquor bottles from the shelves before pouring them into a glass. I slouch down onto a bar stool, stretching my hands out along the wooden surface as I relax, finally in the happiest place that a girl could ever be.

"That'll be ten dollars," the bartender says, placing the tall glass of liquid heaven in front of me. I grin, handing over the notes without a second thought before examining the orange drink. It looks fresh, juicy and refreshing, exactly how I like my cocktails.

I lift the drink to my lips, taking a large gulp of it and grinning instantly at the strong vodka, a hint of orange in the aftertaste.

"Becky Gordon!" A feminine voice exclaims from behind me. I furrow my eyebrows as I place the glass down on the side, relatively confident that I know that voice from somewhere, but unable to place it. It reminds me of high school and I shiver, half expecting to turn around and see head cheerleader Ashley Farrier. With a deep breath, I slowly turn, wondering who the hell is trying to interrupt my alcohol filled fun time.

My eyes nearly fall straight out of my head at the sight, the short haired blonde smiling at me with her brown eyes, a look I don't think I've ever seen from her before.

"Georgia?" I ask, almost certain that my eyes are deceiving me.

"In the flesh!" she exclaims, opening her arms towards me. I turn away, grabbing onto my glass and lifting it up.

"Lovely to see you, but I have somewhere to be," I mutter, desperate for the girl to disappear before Savannah turns up. That girl has enough on her mind than to be confronted with this train wreck.
