Chapter 5

[ Laura's POV ]

I heard voices drift through the door and immediately shuffled towards the back wall.

“You’re not even supposed to be here. You’re a Slytherin. This is the Gryffindor dorms.” That was Danny, and by the sounds of it she was talking to Carmilla.

“Lafontaine is a hufflepuff, and so is her… friend, but I don’t see you kicking them out.” Carmilla replied, her voice was cold and I could tell she was annoyed. But LaF was here, so that helped. We had become closer, even though we didn’t have many classes together and didn’t sit next to each other in any of them.

“yeah, but you’re the one who started this” they came through the door and I held my breath “also Lafontaine is her friend” Danny told them

“No offence, but if you two hadn’t made her choose who was her favourite, we wouldn’t be in this position, I mean what did you think she would do? Actually choose?” LaF sat on the bed. They continued to check around the room. Suddenly, Perry’s face appeared, she noticed my expression and quickly said

“Well I don’t think she’s here, so maybe we should check other places”

“That’s a great idea Perry” LaF responded and I heard her get off of the bed

“Wait, maybe me and LaF should… stay here, in case she comes back?” Perry asked

“I don’t think…” LaF started

“Cool, we’ll come here if we find her” Carmilla turned on her heel and left

“Thanks guys, if she comes back, come and get us, yeah?” Danny asked

“Ugh… Perry? Why would you say that? Now we have to wait here while her psychopathic friends find her and probably make her say its ok when its really not” LaFontaine babbled and threw herself onto my bed

“LaF you fool, she’s under the bed” Perry laughed

“Laura! Come out, are you ok? They’re so stupid” I came out from my hiding spot and was engulfed in a LaFerry hug

“I didn’t know what to say or do so I just ran up here and hid” my voice broke halfway through the sentence and my eyes brimmed with tears

“Hey, it’s ok. We would have done the same in that kind of situation” Perry consoled me

“I’m going to have to face them sometime aren’t I?” I asked

“Yeah, probably” Perry joked

“Guys, we couldn’t find…” Carmilla burst into the room “Laura, are you ok?” I was quickly wrapped up in a hug

“Yeah, Carm. I’m fine, just a bit shocked is all” I replied

She whispered in my ear “go and talk to her, she feels worse than I do buttercup”

 I pulled away from the hug and walked over to Danny, who was slouched against the door frame

“I realise how selfish it was of me to ask you to choose between us, and I’m sorry, can you forgive me?” she looked as though she genuinely thought I might say no to that question

“It’s already done” I replied smiling at her

“Well then, if we’re done here, I’m going to lunch” Carmilla said and the others left the room, as Perry went past me she ‘accidently’ pushed me into Danny

“Hey… did you have a nice trip?” she joked

“Shut up” I said then couldn’t help but burst into giggles “C’mon lets go to lunch, its pizza day” she smiled down at me and we left the room.

Cool so that's chapter 5, idk when i'll update next but i'll try to keep them to some sort of scedule :D
