The boat swayed back and forth making the trek to the Eastern Realm. The sun was shining brightly on the merchant ship. Semlina sat up and faced the window that looked out into the endless ocean. She stretched and walked over to the door and opened it. The month voyage was a bit rough in the beginning since it was Sem's first overseas trip as well as Bridget's. The first few days involved vomiting and trying to ignore the swaying of the ship. Bridget had it worst. She was bed ridden for a whole week and just finally got on her feet without help two days ago. "Good Morning Crown Princess." Sem looked to the voice that was greeting her. It was the Captain of the ship. "Ah, good morning, Captain. How much closer are we to docking?" "We have about two more days left and we already sent out a letter to notify them of our arrival." Semlina nodded and then thanked the Captain and then made her way to deck of the ship. As she made her way to the top, she heard the sound of the waves crashing and people chatting amongst themselves. "-and then we'll just have to meet with the minister of foreign affairs. Advisor Avile handed me a mount of papers to provide them and such." A loud sigh and a "ugh" came from one of the voices. Sem finally made it to the top of the steps and saw Alistair and Junso talking. Junso had his hand on his hips with a disappointed look on his face and Alistair with a look of empathy and a hand on Junso's shoulder. "Complaining about your duties already?" Sem said while looking at the two men who were looking back. Junso crossed his arms. "Yes, can't I? I always feel stir-crazy when it comes to the long boat trips and discussing work does not help at all." "I'm used to the long trips." Alistair chuckled and then made his way to Sem and pecked her cheek. "Good Morning." Sem smiled back and hugged him. "How's your throat?" He said and looked at her neck. "Much better now and all the bruises are fully healed." She folded down the high collar she was wearing exposing her neck. All healed and no bruises showing. She no longer had any scratchiness in her throat when she spoke as well. "I feel like I can scream at the top of my lungs again!" She said while stretching her hands out wide. "That's perfect...please be wary and remember that even though you want to jump head first into danger you have to be wary of your status not only that but you know." Sem looked at Alistair who was reminding her once again about her status. "I know...." She tilted her head and did a small smile. "Hey, only I get to badger her about that stuff" Bridget's voice came up from behind them. "ugh, my sea legs aren't the best." "Morning Sunshine, how was your sleep." Junso said while walking past Alistair and Sem to get to Bridget. "Morning Jun...I don't feel so good still" She said placed her hand on her forehead. "I wish I could use my own abilities on myself." She sighed loudly. Sem walked up to Bridget and rubbed her forehead. "Pain! Go away!" Sem chuckled and hugged her friend. "Thanks" Bridget chuckled at her abruptness. They chatted and discussed the things that were needing to be done before arriving on land. In the blink of an eye two days had passed and the ship was preparing to dock. They watched as the people who were curious on land watched as the large merchant ship docked and waited for the people to disembark from the ship.
Sem draped her large cloak covering her royal symbols to make sure that no one could recognize her when she got off the ship. "Crown Princess, it is I, Captain Jon" Sem opened the door and saw the Captain. "Yes Captain?" "The ship has docked and everyone is making their way to the deck." She nodded. "Thank you for reporting. I will make my way to the deck soon." He bowed and then made his way to the deck. She looked around for anything else in the room and then grabbed her bags. She walked up the steps that led to the deck and saw the group talking amongst each other. "I'm ready." Semlina announced. Bridget turned around and faced her. She was in her full armor along with the shadow knights that were still talking amongst themselves. "Everyone is all here as well. The ship has docked. I was informed by the captain that the party guiding us to the castle should be here soon." Sem nodded and looked at the crew of the ship that were making their way off of it and waved goodbye to a few of them as well. "I'm nervous also really excited" She relayed to Bridget. "I don't know if I should talk to them in Hmong. I was only taught a bit here and there for conversation, when I was younger." Bridget smiled. "You got this Sem." She rubbed her back and then led her to where the rest of the group was. Soon soldiers in blue armor with a hint of red lining within the armor with a white cape that had a rose on the back came near the ship. A man riding on a horse walked through the space that the soldiers left. Semlina and her party made her way of the ship and towards the man on the horse. As soon as Semlina got close, he got off the horse and made his way to Semlina. "Crown Princess Semlina Rhune-Thaysa" He bowed to her. She was a bit thrown off but surprised that he could speak Western. "I am General Kia Toom, the right hand to the Crown Prince Tub Xyooj. Princess Mais is currently waiting for you at her palace. We will guide you to the main palace first and then you will meet with the Princess's general at the main palace." Sem nodded. Bridget walked up. "I am Knight Commander Bridget McIntyre, before we embark on the trip could I speak with you in private?" He nodded and had one of the soldiers show Semlina and the party to the carriage that was waiting for them behind the soldiers. Semlina watched as Bridget walked away with the General. "Come don't worry Junso's staying behind." Alistair put his hand on Semlina's back.
