Act 5: What to expect

-So, how it went?- Spinel said finishing the call when Pink Pearl and I entered the room.

-More or less. The Diamonds want a Yellow's Hessonite to lead Pink's army- Pink Pearl explained.

-But you already have the General Rose- Spinel said surprised and confused.

-Yes, but they want a Hessonite to lead my troops. They don't understand that a Gem can do many different things, but whatever, I have to tell the General Rose about the Diamonds' decision- I said.

I took a Diamond communicator and contacted the General Rose, which was training troops.

-My Diamond- she made the Diamond salute.

-Hi General Rose! How is the training going?- I said.

-Your personal squadron is going good, the rest of your troops still need to keep it up, but they are good. What's the matter my Diamond? The Great Diamond Authority has finally let us to go to war?- the General Rose said.

-Yes, but here is the problem: they want a Hessonite from Yellow's army to lead my troops- I said.

-Seriously!? But I can do that, as well that you have some Hessonites- the General Rose said surprised.

-Yes, I know, but I am sure that they want to control my troops with that Hessonite, which name is...- I said telling her the name of the Hessonite –do you know her?-

-Yes, I was plenty of times under her command. She is very efficient, but she is also very strict, she doesn't want anyone to do anything but just their job, even going to punish them herself. I am afraid that she won't like the way that you manage your troops my Diamond- the General Rose said.

-I will have to deal with her. So, have you faced the Asari general? They will be our enemies in our fist battle, since the Diamond want to use to retrieve a small colony that they have tacken- I said.

-Yes, I have fight then. The Asari are native of the planet Thessia, are often considered the most influential and respected sentient species by the other organic species, even the Chitauri, and are known for their elegance, diplomacy, and biotic aptitude. This is partly due to the fact that the Asari were among the earliest races to achieve interstellar flight. A mono-gender race, the Asari are distinctly feminine in appearance and possess maternal instincts. Their unique physiology, expressed in a millennium-long lifespan and the ability to reproduce with a partner of any gender or species, gives them a conservative yet convivial attitude toward other races. Favoring compromise and cooperation over conflict, the Asari are in peace with other organic species and even make alliances with to stop the dark energy aliens, the Chitauri and of course us. They might not be our number one enemies, but there are one of the strongest- the General Rose explained to me.

-All right, it seems that the other Diamonds didn't left us with the leftovers of our enemies. Start to train my troops so they can defeat the Asari and counter their tactics. We, alongside Shining Star, will go there immediately- I said.

-All right my Diamond. Rose Quartz out- the General Rose said finishing the call.

The hologram turned off and I put the Diamond communicator in the ground.

-So, it seems that we will go to exploration again- Spinel said.

-Yeah, but now it will be faster, since that colony already have a Warp pad- I said.

-Aw...I wanted to go to the ship. It's funnier that way- Spinel said.

-You say it because you aren't the one punished for accidently destroying a building- I said a little annoyed.

-Well, yeah- Spinel said a little ashamed –but it is beautiful to see the stars, the planet from the ship-

-Yes, I also like that, but there is no time for that now. Besides, some of your friends will be there- I said.

-True, very true- Spinel said.

-Also that the Yellow's colony in which Pink's troops are is deeper in the Gem Empire, so we will be safe, which is a relieve- Pink Pearl said.

-Yes P, you will be safe while I will be training and deal with that Hessonite of Yellow- I said.

So, we left my room and went to Galaxy Warp, a big tower with Warps that connect the Gem Empire. I named the one here on Earth with the same name as the one that was in Homeworld. Thinking about is, I should really call the Galaxy Warp on Earth "Earth Warp" or "Earth Warp Station", since the Galaxy Warp (of Earth) can only let us travel around the Earth and not the entire galaxy. But certainly Galaxy Warp is a cool name, don't you agree?

So, we were at the Galaxy Warp tower. Every Gem that saw me saluted me with the Diamond salute, which annoyed me. I didn't wanted to be treated as Diamond, but a normal Gem.

-"I should have come in my Rose Quartz Gemsona form"- I thought.

We finally reached the Warp pad that we needed, I heard a voice in the crowd calling for me. It was the voice of a Pearl.

-My Diamond, please, stop!- she said.

We stopped. I looked around and saw Pearl coming to us passing through a crowd of Gems which didn't moved to let her pass. When she finally overcome the crowd, she fall into the ground.

-Oh my stars! Are you all right?- I said tacking her and putting her stand in the floor. She blushed when I touched her.

-Yes my Diamond, I am really good...- she said blushing.

-Glad to hear, but, why you came? You have a message of White or the others?- I said.

-No, I just...wanted to tell you...that I wish you luck against the Asari, my Diamond- she said.

-Oh, thanks Pearl. I will kill some Asari for you- I said.

-What?- Pearl said confused.

-"Crap! I am not a Rose Quartz right now!"- I thought getting worried.

-Which means that my Diamond's army will kill the Asari for you and the entire Gem Empire, right my Diamond?- Pink Pearl said.

-Yes Pearl, you are right- I said. Phew!, my Pearl saved my again.

-Oh, thank you so much for keeping us save my Diamond- Pearl said making the Diamond salute.

-And thank you and all of you for your great service for the Empire. Keep the good work!- I said.

So, Pink Pearl, Spinel and I boarded the Warp pad and activated it, saying our goodbyes to Pearl.
