"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to O'Hare International Airport. Local time is 9:38 A.M and the temperature is 31 degrees. We are now ready to land, please keep your seatbelts fastened and have your belongings in hand. Thank you for flying with Delta and hope you enjoyed your flight."

eulalia was as nervous as she could be, evelyn the same. they had their backpacks on their lap, holding tightly on to them. when eulalia felt the plane slowly lower itself, she grabbed onto her shoulder rests. she hated the landing part.

evelyn was touching up her mascara since it smeared while she was napping. she actually got a long nap in, unlike eulalia.

the plane was now back on the ground, moving at a fast rate before it slowed. many began to unbuckle their seatbelts although the seatbelt sign was still on, typical.

both eulalia's and evelyn's phone began to ding of notifications since there was signal again. eulalia read the message her parents sent her, "have a safe flight sweetie, we love you. don't forget to call us when you're at the hotel room. hope you have fun, not too much fun though. love you baby."

her mom usually responded for the both of them. eulalia smiled as she finished reading the message, she missed them so much.

"did you get to take a nap lia?" evelyn asked.

"nope, i couldn't. i just listened to music and watched that one movie we downloaded on netflix." eulalia answered, eulalia and evelyn shared a netflix account since their parents rarely even watched television of any sort.

"i told you to bring the melatonin gummies." evelyn said.

"ugh i know, i should've. has chris texted you? ale said to text him where our baggage claim is." eulalia said.

"yeah he said they're already waiting outside our gate, alejandros gonna come get us so he doesn't have to park. i'm shaking dude." evelyn said, she held her hand up to where you could see how much they were shaking.

"oh my gosh me too. watch me fall in front of him or do some stupid shit." eulalia said, making evelyn let out a laugh.

"remember when we went to go meet ariana and you tripped over literally nothing." evelyn said, eulalia laughing as she remembered tripping over air in front of ARIANA GRANDE.

"we don't talk about that." eulalia said, shaking her head.

the plane came to its final stop meaning passengers were able to get their belongings and exit the plane. eulalia and evelyn were, luckily, in the 10th row so they wouldn't have to wait as long to exit. the 5th row had exited so the two began to stand. they stretched their bodies, their backs both loudly cracking which made everyone look at them weirdly.

finally, it was their turn to exit. they had nothing to get from the department above, they just had their backpacks which was now on their backs. they were in the tunnel to get to baggage claim.

the airport was difficult to get around since they had never traveled there before. they made their way to their designated baggage claim, the two slowing down as they were too nervous to function. eulalia's heartbeat sounded so loud to her, she believed other people could hear it. her hands shaking so much, her phone almost fell out of them.

they were now at baggage claim, the exit was right besides it, which meant alejandro and chris were just on the other side of the rotating doors.

"we're at baggage claim **." eulalias heart dropped as it read delivered, he would be here any second now.

"i just sent ale our baggage claim number." eulalia said.

"ok, chris said they're parked like right outside the door." evelyn said, making eulalia even more nervous.

as the luggage began to circle around for people to pick up, eulalia looked towards the exit.

there he was. smiling as he saw the girl on the other side of the doors. the rotation the doors made felt like an eternity to the two as they were just waiting for alejandro to finish the rotation. eulalia not paying attention to anything but him.

alejandro ran to the girl, immediately engulfing her in a hug, swaying back and forth. they finally were together face to face and not over a facetime call. eulalia smiling ear to ear against his chest.

the two broke the hug to formally greet each other. "hi lia." alejandro said, his voice slightly breaking , revealing he was just as nervous as eulalia.

"hi ale." eulalia said, admiring the boy in front of her.

"soooo about my beso-" alejandro joked but was interrupted, "liaaa heres your lugga-" evelyn stopped her sentence. her eyes widened as she knew she had interrupted.

"oh sorry." evelyn laughed, eulalia laughing since she knew what "beso" alejandro was referring to.

(beso means kiss for all my non-spanish speakers)

"im evelyn, nice to meet you." evelyn greeted alejandro with a wave.

"im alejandro, nice to meet you as well." alejandro said with a smile.

i let out a small chuckle because of how awkward the greeting was.

"chris is waiting outside, we should go because hes already blowing up my phone." alejandro said, we heard all the rings from his notifications. evelyn and i nodded our heads while laughing and the three of us began to walk towards the exit.

"lemme take that for you." alejandro said, taking the handle of my luggage from me.

"thank you." i said, beaming with happiness. evelyn went first, leaving alejandro and i last.

"you could go." i said, motioning him to go first.

"no you could go." he said, doing the same.

"no you go." i said, i hated going in front of anyone as they could see my back profile which was never brought to my attention until tiktok. gotta love tiktok.

he laughed, as he rolled my luggage with one hand, he pulled my arm with his other. we were in the same door now.

"this is a easier solution." he said, making me giggle once again. can you tell i laugh when im nervous.

omg bye i feel like them meeting was shit. was it good? IDK, well i hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. im going to continue writing more today to make up for all the inactiveness. also if i post videos and pictures that i caption to imagine either eulalia or alejandro in, its because im too lazy to photoshop a picture of them together ❤ ugh i go back to online school tm i hate it here, how is yalls day going? i hope its going good. ok im gonna go write more later, ive literally spent 3 hours writing hehe, see yall in the next chapterrr. bye ly <3
