part twenty-three

alejandro's perspective

i was finally going to ask her today. of course i waited until the day OF to ask her. i didn't know how to though, maybe i could ask her to go have lunch with me before meet and greets and then ask her there? i don't know but i was going to do it today. hopefully she doesn't have a date already.

i finished with my shower and exited the bathroom to let her go in. i was so used to not putting a shirt on after showering back home that my dumbass forgot to put a shirt on after finishing. i realized right as i exited the bathroom, eulalia noticing right away. i laughed to myself as i saw how off guard i caught her.

"i'm finished, you can go now." i said, drying my hair with the towel and gesturing for her to go into the restroom.

"o-okay." she said, passing by me, stuttering just a bit.

since i was finished getting ready, i was looking up restaurants near by. there was one in particular that looked ideal to me. it was only right besides the hotel, about two buildings down and it was the corner building.

i decided i would ask her there, plus we both hadn't ate so it fit the occasion.

i impatiently waited for eulalia to exit the bathroom so i could tell her about our plans.

it seemed like it took an eternity for eulalia to finish showering.

i looked back at my phone when she exited the bathroom, trying not to make it obvious i was waiting for her to be done.

"liaaa, are you ready? i wanna go eat at this restaurant in around an hour, its like down the street from here." i said, turning my body towards her.

"kk, is it cold?" she asked, looking outside the window, the sky looked clear.

"my weather thing says its forty." i said, reading off my weather app.

"FOURTY?" she exclaimed, "i am definitely over this weather already." she said, putting a sweater over her outfit.

i laughed, jersey's weather was similar to chicago so i was used to it.

"come cuddle with meeee." i said, holding my hands out.

she giggled, doing a weird yet cute run over to me, making me burst out in laughter.

we were cuddling in each others arm, i was just admiring her while she was scrolling on tiktok. i probably seem like a creep because every time we cuddle i just stare at her.

"stop staring at me." eulalia said, covering her face.

i removed her hands from her face and began to kiss her on her cheeks jokingly.

"ALEJANDROO STOPPP." eulalia tried to say but couldn't from all her laughs.

i slowly began to stop kissing her cheeks and it went quiet, tension grew. the only sound was the both of us breathing hard, my eyes flickered back and forth between her eyes and mouth, eulalia's eyes doing the same. the both of us slowly leaned in..

then my phone rang.

the both of us quickly got up from our spot in shock, we really were about to kiss.

INCOMING CALL FROM: KAIRI

i rolled my eyes as i saw my incoming call.

"what's up kai."

"we're going to go bowl at some place in ten, do you guys wanna come with."

"nah that's okay, we're gonna go eat at this restaurant down the street, and also you owe me big time you fuck."

"the fuck did i do?"

"i'll tell you later, bye kai."

"ok? bye ale."

eulalia awkwardly let out a laugh hearing the second to last sentence i said, "kai asked if we wanted to go bowling but they're going in like ten minutes." i said, "plus i want to spend time with just you, they're annoying."

"plus i am terrible at bowling so you saved us on that one." she said.

"ale." she spoke up again, looking down at her phone.

"yeah?" i asked.

"can i post this on el snap." she said, making me laugh with the el snap.

she faced her phone towards me, it was a video of me smiling at the camera. from the placement of the phone, you could tell we were cuddling. i mean everyone basically knew at this point so there was no shock in posting it.

"yes post it right now." i said, "you should post it on ig and snap."

"damn okay i guess we going bold now." eulalia said, referring to putting our relationship out there.

"tiktokroom did it for us." i said, making her let out a small laugh.

in the course of an hour, i would be asking eulalia to the prom.

its not even that big of a deal but i'm shitting bricks, another idea came to mind.

when we leave each other, are we going to leave still unofficial? was it to soon to ask her? i know i have feelings for her but would it be too early to ask her to be my girlfriend? i don't know, that's the problem. i only have 2 days to figure it out.
